Hey so I am currently a high school senior and I will be having my highschool final exams in may. I applied to a lot of colleges in fall 2022. I got deffered from Cornell but I ultimately got rejected from all my dream schools. I kind of know why I got rejected(I had very low grades). I applied for architecture program .I can proudly say I had a very impressive portfolio(must be why I got deferred from Cornell) I am definitely going to get very good grades in my 12 finals. But for now I have considered to take a gap year and try again in fall 2023. I want to take part in the Summer Research Program that you mentioned. But I have zero experiemce about research. I am bit concerned if I should join it.

I gave my 12 th final in may/June 2022 and results were published about 5 to 6 months after that and still have not applied for any of the college as I was preparing for CEE(same as neet in Nepal) I got my name in merit list with pretty good rank and marks but not yet enough for full scholarship so now I am planning for to apply for bio medical engineering so what should I do next please guide me if you can!!!! You have to apply a year before to get into Fall intake and only 4 months to get into summer and spring intakes ....!!!??? I actually don't get this idea 😶🌫️😶!!!
it actually isn't if you write it down! example as shown in the video: Fall 2023 applications opened last year 2022 in august, you had time till Jan 15,2022 to finish applying under the fall intake. Spring session starts mid to late January and Summer session starts from May. If you started applications late, then summer and rolling is the only thing you are left with :)

Hey, since I study at a Government women's college my BSc course (Food science and Nutrition) doesn't include internship/project or any other practical stuff. When I went out to do these on my own, I was not allowed to, since my course completion isn't dependent on it or the other option was I could do it on my own but I hv to do it while still being enrolled in BSc n hv to miss my final sem classes for about 2 months, and it's quite impossible. For Fall 2024, you can start preparing in August 2023. EA/ ED deadlines will be in Nov 2023 and RD deadlines in Jan 2024. For International students it's always better to apply EA!

for undergrad, many first year students have to live on-campus hostel/dorms, graduate students can easily live off-campus!

Doing courses is good, but it's better if the courses are graded, that way you can show colleges how good you are at that particular course.

does ever 12th grade required to submit in Harvard entire form not common app.
you will have to submit all marks from 9th to 12th for harvard!
@Crazy Medusa but their is no place in harvard to upload mark sheets in common app and in common app section their say harvard not requires mark sheet

it actually isn't if you write it down! example as shown in the video: Fall 2023 applications opened last year 2022 in august, you had time till Jan 15,2022 to finish applying under the fall intake. Spring session starts mid to late January and Summer session starts from May. If you started applications late, then summer and rolling is the only thing you are left with :)

Hey, since I study at a Government women's college my BSc course (Food science and Nutrition) doesn't include internship/project or any other practical stuff. When I went out to do these on my own, I was not allowed to, since my course completion isn't dependent on it or the other option was I could do it on my own but I hv to do it while still being enrolled in BSc n hv to miss my final sem classes for about 2 months, and it's quite impossible. But I want to do my MSc in Food science and Tech from Cornell so what else can I do? Any suggestions please? My final sem exams might end around September n I want to apply to Cornell in this Nov. Would any online courses abt Food science still make it show my interests in the subject? Please help.

its designed to give students who are good academically some better opportunities during their undergrad such as co-ops, research positions, extracurricular participations, basically these students get exposed to more stuff than regular students :) and no it does not promises any tuition or living expense, that's a different dept. to handle

For Fall 2024, you can start preparing in August 2023. EA/ ED deadlines will be in Nov 2023 and RD deadlines in Jan 2024. For International students it's always better to apply EA!

if you do one year from india and then don't take a transfer than your one year is wasted, you cannot transfer credits as a first year applicant
