My favorite way to clean my mats that I have been doing for years, thanks to Kelly Barlow Creations, is Goo Gone, scraper, painters tape and Loctite repositionable spray adhesive. I take all my mats outside on a nice spring, no wind day, spray them all down, scrape them off, wash them, dry them, painters tape them all down, spray away and it's like they just walked out of the store. I have some mats going strong since 2015. My favorite wipes during winter are the target cucumber baby wipes. I use them for everything and bonus beautiful scent for my room when I use them.
I have a silhouette mat but the cutting mats should be the same, used the dawn however this totally failed and although it removed the lint, when it dried, all the sticky was gone too. So very disappointed in the results. Now wondering if I can add a tacky agent, open to suggestions?
I use baby wipes all the time to clean my mats. Some of mine, however need to be replaced because they are beyond the pint of cleaning them. Thank you for the tips.

I use unscented wipes and they work wonders in the kitchen and bathroom for quick cleanups as well as for crafting. Great video!

Flour sack towels are completely lint free. Walmart has cotton rags super soft no lint. Cloth diapers might work too

Can you use a Cricut mat with a Silhouette Cameo 4 machine
I do use the awesome spray and rub with the scraper, so my hands are never in contact with the spray. I then wipe it off with paper towels.
