Not sure why I'm not getting "profile" options in the settings section on my fridge! Did they get rid of profiles in the latest updates?
You gave to sign in to your Samsung account then go to profile.
Same issue. It seems like this is all outdated even after only a year!
@@perezfamily2861 still doesn't appear. Just bought my fridge two weeks ago and the profile option is no where on it. Which prevents me from using the family Hub app.
Mines said the same thing but if you stroll all the way down this message will come up
“If your Family Hub is running Software Version Tizen 6.0 (which can be found on your Family Hub from Settings > About Family Hub > Software version TIZEN6.0) the Samsung Family Hub app will be no longer supported.”

How do I make a profile on the family hub. The instructions aren't clear
When you setup the fridge, it will ask you to either login with an existing Samsung account or will walk you through creating a new one.
so I have this Samsung fridge without the handles and bought it a year and half ago. there is a well known problem with the ice maker not working and breaking down which they fix. there is also a well known issue with the fridge not working and not cooling after some use. Mine had the ice maker replaced, and even with a reset, and setting the temp to 37 and -2 for freezer, and turning on power cool and power freeze the fridge is not cooling at all !!!!!!! Nice idea to go to high tech. But if a refrigerator does not cool, it is not a refrigerator, it is just a tablet and a storage cabinet.

If you press the water button for 3 seconds it locks it. Hold for another 3 seconds to unlock it.
I understand how to set the temperature, but how do I see actual temperature? So I can monitor if I have a problem?

Thanks for your video, what I haven't been able to do is prevent the default pictures from showing up automatically. I already have my album, I can play them in the slide show but after some idle time the pictures that start playing are not mine, are the ones that came with the fridge. The funny thing is that I deleted that album also, and still nothing. Any idea? thanks
You may want to check the settings for the screensaver app to ensure only your personal photo albums are included and to remove any defaults. Check out bby.me/l0tttz for instructions.

When I go into settings I can’t find add profile only Samsung account information. How do create a profile so I can use family hub?
On the refrigerator, You'll want to tap "Settings" and then "Profiles". From there, you can tap "Add" to create a new profile. Hope this helps!

Hi Best Buy! So I just purchased a Samsung smart fridge for my new home that's getting built. The thing is, the home won't be completed until January or February. Right now, I have it sitting in my garage with all the packing stuff still on it. Would it be feasible to keep it in my garage through the winter without damaging the fridge's electronics, or should I attempt to bring it inside?

I would like to know how to send or receive a message using "White Board" application on the refrigerator. I have Family Hub set up on the Android phone but I can not find a way to find the message left on the refrigerator. I do not know if "White board" may not be accessible, I am very unhappy because now I can not communicate with my family sending or receiving messages from afar.

My sound on refrigerator is not functioning correctly. There is no sound when playing any music app or weather update. I have rebooted to the factory settings but with no success. Samsung is unable to determine the issues or offer any suggestions.

@@BestBuy I have a SAMSUNG SMART REFRIGERATOR and I had a Samsung TV . I was able to watch TV with the SMART VIEW application on the fridge screen. Now I have an LG TV; with this one I haven't been able to watch TV on the fridge screen. Is it because it is an LG TV?
It's likely the fridge app is designed to send video to TVs from the same manufacturer.
Does anyone know how long until the fridge makes ice? Been connected for 9 hours and still no ice.. i checked the settings and its on..

Just in case, ensure you have the latest software on your Samsung Family Hub fridge. Once that's complete, you should be able to swipe up from the bottom of the screen to see apps available for the device. Look for the Smart Things widget, then touch and hold until a popup appears giving you an option to either "Add to home" or "Add Widget".
