I like that you don't try to tell me what to do or sell me what to do. You just do what you have a passion for and I'm fortunate enough to come along for the adventure. Keep doing what you are doing. It is refreshing to just watch ,enjoy and experience without a hidden agender. Keep them coming!
Glad you enjoyed the style of video I upload and joining on the trips. It is my pleasure to share my passion for boating and the outdoors with the viewer!👍
Another awesome video, your commentary, is great to listen to, short and to the point, and no swearing, which is great, not like some channels where there is too much over the top B.S. and foul language. And I'll say it again that you only take what what you need, which is great. You certainly are in Gods country up there, and keep these amazing videos coming.!!!🦀🦐🎣
Too true, the environment here is something special! I will definitely keep this style of video coming! Thanks for taking time to support the channel it is greatly appreciated!👍
Good crabs mate 👍 awesome little run seeing a few crocs now sunning , yeah I think the rectangle pots catch quick there easy , living the dream 👍 good feed there and I like how you trying to come across that you don't need to take everything as quality better than quantity, good video showing the amatures how easy and quick tie up crab 👍
I am also keen to go and catch some winter species over the coming weeks. This time of the year I get great enjoyment from walking the sand flats fishing for whiting! Thanks for your your comment it is greatly appreciated!👍
Great to see the crabs are still plentiful as it gets cooler. With winter coming on we will definitely see more lizards on the mudbanks getting as much sun as they can. People need to remember there are alot of decent size crocs in the waters up here in North Queensland and to be careful at all times. Thanks for another great video mate. 🦀🦀🦀🐊🐊🐊
Yes it is our cooler time of the year at present. It rarely gets cold where I am located in North Queensland. Always a concern that I could get seriously bitten so a regular count of the toes is important!😀 Thanks for your support!👍
Mengapa setiap kali saya melihat video anda membuat saya pingin kesitu sebap saya tertarik dengan petualangan itu karena saya juga seorang penjelaja hutan bakau, 🙏 salam satu hobi,, kepiting sungai dan hutan manggruf australia utara memang mantap,👍
There must be a lot of meat on a legal crab to only keep five. We catch blue crab here in America and it takes more than five for a meal for a family. Do you have problems with the crocks busting up your pots
A large mud crab that is of good quality is filled with meat. Eating one whole mud crab is more than satisfying! Crocodiles definitely take crab pots. It can be a real problem at times! Thanks for your comment!👍
Gday mate great video and great catch that rusty buck would probably been good ut you had enough for what you needed which is a great way to do things not like others who can catch 20 crabs and do just that even if they dont eat them , those crocs are a worry though especially when you o to get your pots i think i would be using a boat hook is that the bohle? if so i can see why you dont go bait netting take care .
There sure is a few crocs in this river! Always a good reminder they are there when they are out on the river bank sunning themselves! Thanks for your comment!👍
Hey mate how many meter is your tinny.? And how much horse power.? Ive got a 3.7 quintrex thinking what horse power should i get and what brand. Cheers
Hey man, I’m currently studying abroad in Sydney and was wondering if there was any way I could fly out to you and go mud crabbing with you. It’s on my list of things to do while I’m here and think it would be a blast.
If you’re going to come to Northern Australia there are heaps of great attractions and adventures. Catching mud crabs is definitely one of them! Make sure you arrange to take full advantage of your trip north! Thanks for your comment!👍
Surprisingly I have only been bitten once when I was very young. I learnt very quickly to treat a mud crab with respect when handling them. Thanks for your question!👍

Hey mate how many meter is your tinny.? And how much horse power.? Ive got a 3.7 quintrex thinking what horse power should i get and what brand. Cheers
My boat is 3.95m and has a 25hp Yamaha outboard. I would think a 15hp or 20hp would be plenty on a 3.7m aluminium boat. Thanks for your question!👍
