Who needs 50K worth of boat. You manage to always get a good catch out of a tinny and have a cook up to boot.. Even I could manage to save up for a tinny. Thanks for a great vid. Those sea grubs looked sweet!
I would love a 50k boat but you are right, lots of fun and great fishing can be enjoyed from a tinnie. Thanks for watching.
@@returnoutdoors2210 that tin bin is huge its prob not to far off 50k dressed up with trailer.
It is definitely not hard to quickly rip up 50k on a boat once a few accessories are added. Thanks for your comment!

So much to be thankful for living and enjoying the outdoors in this part of the world. Thanks for your comment!
Days like that crabbing are rare but the rain definately gets them on the move. I must say lunch looked very interesting but I bet it tasted great. Thanks for another great video. 🦀🦐
A good wet season has certainly helped the crabbing this year! Thanks for your comment!
Your videos are quite therapeutic to watch! Really enjoy watching.
But can you include more footage of the crab meat after you’ve cooked them!? 😂
I genuinely appreciate your comment and taking the time to share.
I'd love to include more footage of the crab meat but it gets pretty messy at the eating stage! Cheers, Brad 👍
Another good video, nice to see the prawns are in. Cheers mate 👍
Always good fun to catch a few prawns in the cast net, whether it is to eat them or use for bait. Thanks for your comment!
New subscribers here..wow 😮 I was amazed.. I enjoyed watching you 🎉🎉🎉
Glad you enjoyed the video! Thanks for your support!👍
Thank you for sharing .i love the outdoor life
Being outdoors is definitely time well spent! Thanks for your comment!
I enjoyed watching and subsrcibed.. this is so cool.. female is freed, i like that. sending regards from Bangkok. stay safe always.
It certainly is a good rule to release the females to help with sustainability of the mud crab population. Glad you enjoyed watching and thanks for subscribing!👍
Wow,! Amazing outdoor life!
It is great to spend time outdoors! Thanks for your comment!👍
Mate this is my favourite outdoor weekend hobby up here in Daru Island, PNG. The creek and surrounding environment looks exactly the same with plenty of prawns, crabs and barramundi too. Keep the videos coming love em all.
Definitely a good way to spend your weekends. It is great to hear the rivers and surrounding areas are productive. Thanks for your comment!
Excellent haul. I hope they’re tasty mate. Try a mud crab pasta with a couple ✌️ vine tomatoes in the oven, some tarragon and some cream with some fresh pasta will be magic.
I have never tried coking a pasta using mud crab. Thanks for the suggestion, will try this soon.
First time watching. Just subscribed. Wow what a haul. Well done. Enjoyed your cooking session also
Glad you enjoyed! Thanks for subscribing.👍
wonderful. Have a nice day
Glad you enjoyed! Thanks for your comment.👍
Christ! They lining up to get in those pots. What a haul 👍
It was definitely ‘take a number’ day for the crabs trying to get in the pots! Thanks for your comment.
Wow, great video. Cooking on your boat and making it look so yummy, well done. Fairly new subscriber, but I love these crab videos (I am from the USA). Thanks for sharing and please keep sharing. Cheers!

@@returnoutdoors2210 you must let me know when you are ever in Dubai
I would love to visit Dubai someday!👍
l just subscribed and love this stuff, this is a real treat for me. l'm in Vic can't use cast nets or pots only drop nets. Prawns and Mud Crabs now that's quality tucker, goodluck fishing.
It sure would be a game changer not being allowed cast nets or safety pots. A feed of prawns and crabs definitely rates highly for me. Thanks for your comment!👍
Lovely Vid and crabs
Appreciate your comment. Thanks for watching!
It a good catch I have ever see video
Thanks for your comment!👍
May I know where you are ...doing crabbing?I'm from Perth and I'm fascinated with your crabbing...
I am in North Queensland. Glad you enjoyed the videos. Cheers.👍
I thought it was 10 crabs in possession not 7 this was on the QLD fisheries department web site very good going anyway and I think I have worked out your crabs spot was there as a kid with my grandfather and that’s 60+ years ago when there was no limits on crabs or pots cheers
My understanding of the current rules is a possession limit of 7 per person and 14 per boat with 2 or more people on board applies in Qld waters. Male crabs must be a minimum of 15cm across the shell and all female crabs must be released. I am sure you have lots of great memories and fantastic stories of your time spent fishing and crabbing this area. Thanks for taking the time to comment and share your experiences. Regards, Brad
@@returnoutdoors2210 thanks for your reply so I have been doing it wrong now I know will have to mend my ways keep the vids coming finding them bringing back lots of memories from that part of the woods cheers
That looks 😋😋😋 never seen that way being cooked.
It definitely tasted good! Thanks for your comment.👍
Good night love the office and your mom is
Thanks for your comment!👍
Hi, thanks for video. In regard to the prawns, how did you get those prawn cracker chips? Is it the shell of the prawn you use? Never made them.
The prawn crackers come pre made in a box, so I can’t take any credit other than placing them in hot oil! They are tasty, fun to cook but not definitely not a healthy dietary choice!😀Thanks for your question!👍
You are a good fisher. I like that. Lets save our planet from greedy human.
It is important that the environment is cared for. We can't catch what isn't there, no matter how good we are at fishing. Take care!👍
❤❤❤,,,,saya sangat suka cara kinerjanya,,,,perfec (propesional),,,❤❤❤ trims.
I am glad you enjoyed watching the video! Thanks for your comment!👍
Great video! Just found your channel. What was that you fried in the oil after cooking the shrimp?
I put ‘Prawn Crackers’ in the oil. Good chance they have zero prawns or nutritional value, but fun to eat!😀 Thanks for watching.
I have a 4 letter word for you sir.
ENVY.
Hahaha 😂😂😂 - Love your comment! Cheers, Brad.👍
Nice catch. I'm going to try shrimp chips with shrimp in it lol
Hope you enjoy them as much as I did! Thanks for your comment!😀
Great video mate. I have to ask is that system open to professional crabbing. Why I ask is I don't think I have ever seen that amount of crabs Especially legals in such a short amount of time. Where I am there are pro crabbers and you have to be lucky to even get a feed most times.
Yes the system is open to professional crabbing to my knowledge. Conditions for crabs have been favourable in this region and has resulted in good numbers of crabs. As we head into the drier months the crabs will become a challenge to catch here as well. Thanks for your comment!
were are you mate, knowing where you are is a big help, thanks mate
I do most of my fishing between Airlie and Mission Beach. Cheers!👍
wew that crab at brunei soo expensive uncle we call it ketam kalok 1kilo 12$ dollar 😂 that crab can be 1 for 1kilo or half maybe.. haha btw nice video.. done subscribe

New subscriber, What area is this in in Qld and so wonderful to see how good the stocks are there. Cheers and thanks for such great content as it was very enjoyable to see, hey what electronics do you run?
I usually fish and crab from the Whitsunday north to the Mission Beach area. I presently have a Garmin depth sounder and have been happy with it so far. Thanks for your question!

Glad to hear you’re getting back into boating! Definitely a great way to spend time.
Thats some load of crab pull. We need some crab like that in the USA
We have had lots of rain recently here in Northern Australia and it has made the crabs very active. Thanks for watching!

How many crab and prawns are you allowed to keep where you are❤
I am allowed 7 male mud crabs of a minimum size of 15cm across the shell. When I am fishing on my own I am allowed to have a 10 litre bucket of prawns! Thanks for your question!👍

Just one??? Glad you enjoyed watching. Thanks for your comment!👍
I assume you boil the mud crabs. There is a steaming method which does not soak the meat. I use J O #2 crab spice.
Thanks for the suggestion - I will give it a try. Cheers!
What are the things you fried up to put the prawns in? Never seen those before.
I cooked ‘Prawn Crackers’. They are just like a crispy savoury biscuit. Thanks for your question.
Good spot mate full support here
Appreciate the support, thanks for watching!
I daresay those big crabs would take your toe off. Great catch.
They most certainly would remove a toe given an opportunity! Thanks for your comment!👍
Wow I can only dream of a day like that!
It certainly was great conditions for crabbing. Thanks for your comment!
Would you ever consider taking a passenger one day fishing?? I would just love to learn from you
I use to take lots of people fishing when I operated a guided fishing tour. Might get back into it one day!👍

You caught more crabs in 1 pot than me in a year with 4!
New subscriber from Brissie!
We were fortunate to have a good wet season this year that has made the crabs very active. Thanks for subscribing!👍
What was that you cooked to put the prawns on?
They are called Prawn Chips. Good fun to cook and eat. They are usually just served as a side dish. Thanks for your question!👍
❤❤❤
Glad you enjoyed watching the video!👍
Keep that place a secret, bagging out on two pots WOW.
Definitely good number of quality crabs in this area for a short time due to a good wet season. Hopefully next year will produce good catches of crabs as well. Thanks for your comment!👍

Not a small prawns only on larger ones! Thanks for your question!

Where did you get those type of traps?
In Northern Australia these types of traps / crab pots are purchased through fishing tackle outlets. Thanks for your question.
Crab Mama " Damn, I was caught 5 times already this week...!"
Definitely lucky if you’re born a female crab in Queensland. NO TAKE on all females here!👍
That seemed like a lot of work for those crabs but they looked nice.
Cheers, definitely tasted good. A little bit of effort but helped pass the time waiting for the crab pots. Thanks for watching!👍

Verry good yout trap
Yes, the traps work very good!👍
I assume you boil the mud crabs. There is a seasoning call J O Crab spice # 2. You can get it from the United States. Try steaming the crabs instead of boiling them. I can send you the steaming method.
I would love to try steaming a mud crab using this method. Thanks for the suggestion. Cheers!
