Saw Sebastian on Sunday night in Des Moines. I laughed my ass off the whole show. I'm 50, so I totally can relate to the dumb health issues that come up. I also woke up with a torn bicep ligament and collar bone impingement in 2012. I was like, what the hell am I doing in my sleep that I'm getting crazy injuries.
@salmonchurro I kinda consider it an achievement to have reached 50. 150 years ago the average lifespan was 45, so I'm in the bonus years. My kids are grown and I get to do the stuff I couldn't do because raising 2 productive members of society was my priority. 😁
One of the things that good stand ups do that fascinate me is the ability to tell a joke or do a bit again and again as if its the first time they ever did it.
@@sumbuddy63 I get what you mean about that. Even though they may change or tinker a bit, it is as though they’re just telling that joke for the first time and it is amazing. Not an easy feat.

The reason some people don’t view David Spade as a big star is because he doesn’t act like one. He is just deliciously normal. Confidently insecure, modest, humbled. I just can’t help but love him ❤ A truly bright star.
I love David Spade, and Dana Carvey too. Emperor’s New Groove is the most underrated Disney movie ever. David is so awesome in it. The whole thing - my family & I quote from it all the time :)
That would be a great interview. He has such a deep history with SNL, he was married Gilda Radner, plus his own career. I saw him live in '89 with Bob Dylan.
@@hungwilliam44Not sure if you're being sarcastic or not, but that would actually be very interesting to get a crew member's perspective on what goes into making the show from a behind the scenes POV.

Spade used to skate through. He wasn't on Tony Hawk's skill level or anything, but Dana to Tom Brady wouldn't be an accurate comparison. Especially since Bad News Bears is baseball and Tom Brady plays football.

This is the top comic in the game and has the best delivery in the business. I haven’t stopped laughing at Sebastian’s bits for years. Most comics out there today are not funny and do the same shit.
Dana's manic rambling is a continuing problem, and it's getting worse. He can't help it, but hopefully a producer can work on a signal to prompt him to let someone else speak.

He's def not a narcissist. It's overcompensation from low self esteem (he's very often self deprecating which narcissist never do). & People with crappy upbringings often turn out to be oversharers and over explainers.
Whatever he is, he's rude to guests, twists everything back to being all about him, thinks he's a major star and talent, both of which he isn't. And he's honestly truly objectively not funny. It staggers me that he made a career on the coat tails of Mike Myers.
@@richardichard4237 Interesting how people see things so differently because if he was objectively not funny, he would never have been employed at SNL And if he's rude to guests then so is David because I've listened to every episode and they both interrupt to tell their own stories about themselves.
