Spade. Thanks for reading comments. Love your show. I often drift off to sleep ,with my dog next to me,as enjoy your guys' show. Then listen too the rest the next day. Two interviewers are better than one. Especially when they are so look witty and funny. All the best from Matt & Voodoo. Great stand up also.👍👍
That's exactly what I do too. Except my listening partner is my cat. 😂 I have no problem listening to each episode twice. Some I've probly heard 3-4 times. Love this podcast !
Just discovered this podcast a few days ago and have already listened to like 10 episodes; all of them have been great, the Lorne episodes especially. The conversations you guys have and the backstage/backstory information on SNL humanizes these powerhouse personalities from across the SNL years in the best way. Great show, looking forward to new episodes and digging into the backlog.
man, what a great episode. Great guest obviously, Sudeikis is so s solid but Dave and Dana are really becoming much better interviewers. Less schtick and more listening snd responding. Good shit.
@ David Spade- I really like your comedy. I've always enjoyed you when you are a guest on talk shows but this new phase is great!! I love that you share "back in the day" stories. Thank you for all the laughs
This was good, actually very good. Thank you for this. Jason, you and your crew (every one of them) who made Ted Lasso a reality. Thank you for that! Good vibes, great oldies.
SPADE your comment about TENET movie made me CRY LAUGH! “My dominant emotion was anger”. I’m still laughing listening to that line over and over. You killed it!
Jason just comes across as such a warm, humble, likable dude. Even when he played a douchebag or a literal A-Hole on SNL there was something inherently charming and down to earth about him. He's also a hell of a dancer and a great singer. This was a good interview.
I loved this! I am a big fan of Jason Sudeikis! Also, yes, he was the best on What's Up With That! Also, Jason seems to be a really nice person!!! So gracious and humble!!!
A buddy of mine sent me that SNL potato chip sketch and I loved it so much I had to save it. Forte and Sudeikis are lunatics and just so damn funny in it.
Just found this show in the last week cause I searched to see if Spade had a podcast after rewatching his episode on Norm’s Netflix show a bunch. Grew up watching Wayne’s world over and over again and didn’t realise how crazy talented Dana was until much later in life. Fave podcast right now by a mile. Best vibes and company for driving, chores and those difficult poop situations that may take a little extra twisting & turning in order to snap off in such a manner that i can be confident that full clearance has been achieved.
Such an amazing episode! Hope David reads this comment cause he’s one of my all time favorite comedians. Seriously thank you for all the laughs! I needed this today. Listened on Spotify.
Damn on one hand I wish I discovered this earlier, on the other hand I have a lot of content to keep me busy. Thanks for the thing I didn't know I needed.
This is the only podcast I have actually continued listening too! I listen between phone calls at work. So many interesting questions and stories from all the SNL cast members and other SNL related comedians and friends. It would be good with videos which I know you have heard from many listeners. I hope Dana is able to pay his bills. I am also watching Snake Oil because of David hosting.🥰
✨💫 What a trio… Three of my absolute favorites from SNL. This is an immense amount of talent, humor and charm. The three of you are responsible for tons of smiles and giggles. Good for the heart & soul. THANK YOU, gentlemen. 💛💛💛💫✨
Roy Kent is a never-realized Josey Wales with vulnerability. But Roy's parallels to Clint's tough-man roles are palpable. If only Clint's characters could have learned like Roy's did. To hear Jason call Roy a "gunslinger," ... pretty cool.
*Eastside Low Bottoms sh*t !* _Tappin' in from South Central LA_ "Maine Justice", especially the one where he kissed Jamie Foxx's hand is still one o revisit from time to time. I got my kids hooked on "What's Up With That" Jason doing all of those outdated dances off to the side is STILL hilarious.
Love listening to this show, I come here from find you on theo von and was like I need me some more spade. Probably the most asked question can we for the love of God get some video happening 😅
Me too. Just finished watching final episode of Ted Lasso. What a great show. Jason was the star, but they also had a great cast and it was really well written. Interesting to see what he comes up with next.
watched all the ted lasso episodes and i was disappointed when i got to the last one but now that you did season 3 i will have to resubscribe to apple tv
I'm from KC and Comedy Sports came to my high school senior year, 1998, and I wonder if Mr. Sudeikis was with them at that point? Anyway, great episode. I've been a huge SNL fan since I was 9 and this show is so great. Thank you.
love when you talk about snl and do lorne impressions, and david my favorite bit you did was about the inconvenience store. loved you in pcu and tommy boy and dana keep chopping broccoli
I am in Southern AZ, I own a guest ranch. I listen to every Podcast they have done! I love them! (well, one was a dud, but most of the others...great!) I have no clue who anyone is or what they are talking about. I have no TV. If this guy walked up right now and asked for a riding lesson I would not know who he is. But I just enjoy the random fun stories. I like both Dana and David, but David is my favorite. He is cute and very fun. His story about being miscast in the gangster movie as a bad guy, and he was wired up with fake blood.....I was riding a horse and I laughed and laughed! I listen to radio all day, and this is my favorite podcast. Thanks guys1
So…love your show. David, I love how real u r about how hard it can be at times to be funny almost on command (the mick jagger story, doing the warm up, being up in the air between seasons for no obvious reason) and I love u don’t pretend to care about politics. (I do care but I love u don’t apologize for not caring although it might be interesting to talk more about that as comedians - I know that could stir conflict but conflict itself without it becoming personal is usually thought-provoking and an opportunity for growth.) Dana, I actually love when u talk about the business end of things (corporate gigs,,who owns material, protecting your bits) as it just makes me think about aspects of comedy I didn’t contemplate. I also love how long the podcasts are and that u let the conversation be organic (or at least appear that way)
I download and listen to every episode of this show. I also listen to it on RUclips as well if I’m on my IPad. Thank you for all the amazing variety of guests and interviews. Perhaps through this podcast we could get the powers that be release the rest of the SNL seasons on dvd? Specifically the Martin short season to the will Ferrell years would be amazing. I have the first 5 but we need seasons 6 - 25 please..Thank you for readin!
Origin story: I was outside on the lawn at SPAC a million years ago and Pete Seeger was yelling for "More cowbell!" Punchline is *fantastic* and I'm not even a Hanks fan.
i love you guys dave and dana and jason and i was listening on a podcsst app and jason was saying shucky ducky and he didn't know where it came from i had to think about it but there was a presidential candidate he was the owner of godfather's pizza and he did a political radio show and he was on rush limbaugh sometimes. his name was herman cain he died in 2020
Wtf man, can somebody get carvey onboard with video? You know what’s a million times better than this? The sudeikis, norm and Miller radio interview. BECAUSE VIDEOOOOOOOOOOO DANA… Let’s make a badass show, in every sense of the word, except for the “show” part. You have to imagine the show part of the show. Think 1930’s radio. But worse! Spade! Talk to your boy
as an old and jaded fan of hilarious shows about terrible people, starting with Seinfeld thru Peep Show and the In-Betweeners to Beef, i find Ted Lasso to be a refreshing change. Seeing mostly good people trying to do the right thing really warms my heart. shits like medicine for my soul, and the world needs it
@@randomdude189 Oh, wait, you haven’t watched shit. You are just repeating political rhetoric like a sheep. Good for you! Yeah, go ahead, watch the first two seasons and then stop so you never find out how a narrative ends. Super smart!
I listen religiously and love this podcast, but I gotta say this one was a total snooze!! I usually take a shot every time Dana says "Seminole" "Lorne" or "naughts" and I didn't even get buzzed. Jason has so much more to say, and so do you. Please have a part 2 soon! Love you ❤❤❤
This is gonna be good! Sudeikis is a mega talent and he's got a likeability factor that may even eclipse Ryan Reynolds. I'm expecting Mr. Sudeikis to become the trusted spokesperson and America's hot avuncular straight shooter for cheap and fast wireless any day now! But it's gonna have to be 20 bucks a month all you can eat data for me to feel froggy. Capisce? 🤨
3:50 is Dana actually confused and he doesnt know Spade is making a joke about having "an old face" or is ge playing along and joking? A lot of times Dana seems confused and i worry about him
Maaaan I was really hoping you guys would talk about the strip club skit he did on SNL with Helen Mirren. Every time I watch it I laugh like it's the first time I've seen it.
ive been using Lovitz"s "Jealous"...i asked my son what does he remember as my catch phrase...it is not unique...zip it. i said i dont likthat catch phrase lmao
David Spade thanks for reading the comments. You guys bring me smiles.
Jason was the new Phil Hartman. Could do it all. Fully committed & he never would break.
Spade. Thanks for reading comments. Love your show. I often drift off to sleep ,with my dog next to me,as enjoy your guys' show. Then listen too the rest the next day. Two interviewers are better than one. Especially when they are so look witty and funny. All the best from Matt & Voodoo. Great stand up also.👍👍
Will a cat do? Me & my cat dose off to Dana & David ~ Kitty looks happy & gets sleepy & purrs ~ 🐾😹
That's exactly what I do too. Except my listening partner is my cat. 😂 I have no problem listening to each episode twice. Some I've probly heard 3-4 times. Love this podcast !
Me & my kitty too

paused this lovely podcast to finally watch Ted Lasso. I binged a season in a whole sitting. Been a long time since I've done that!

Skinheads of Maine may be in my top ten favorite comedy sketches of all time. The delivery, the vernacular... all brilliant.
@ David Spade- I really like your comedy. I've always enjoyed you when you are a guest on talk shows but this new phase is great!! I love that you share "back in the day" stories.
Thank you for all the laughs
He’s from my hometown. We’re so proud! Such a great interview! I’m gonna miss Lasso so much!
This was good, actually very good. Thank you for this. Jason, you and your crew (every one of them) who made Ted Lasso a reality. Thank you for that!

I love this podcast. Well done Dana, its nice of you to give this young lady a platform. 😂
SPADE your comment about TENET movie made me CRY LAUGH!
“My dominant emotion was anger”. I’m still laughing listening to that line over and over.

David, one positive msg, to balance any bad ones. Love ya, man. 🎉❤

Can’t say I remember him playing a literal Asshole. A figurative one maybe…
Really good stuff, David and Dana are so good, Jason seems so nice 👍

Heather's hard laugh when Spade asked if even he's an executive producer on Ted Lasso at this point made my day.

So uplifting and fun. Thank you for the laugh out louds. ❤

Honey boys, you spread smiles, laughs and contentment to this gal your age. Love the impressions. Never know what to expect. I'm hooked.

Listening to the tone of Jason ‘s voice, and his intellect, reminds me of listening to a Neil Peart interview… well done gentleman.
Great show. Love you guys

Show is great. I listen to every one. Just recently found it so i’m catching up.
Hi Guy's!
Love you and the show! The Lorne and Miller voices are a Hoot. Ha ha Adam too!😁👍✌️💯❤️🌎
Dana said, "I would like to say this to the fans." Dana, you mean.......fan. ❤
I love the two of you.

Fantastic pod cast gotta love all the stories. The Fablemans ends with the main character meeting John Ford.
His uncle is George Wendt? Wow mind blown!

Love Sudeikis
Didnt expect the arcade and pinball talk!!
Jason is so cool
i wish you did video interviews.
I think Jason referenced "no guff"! Am I wrong? I haven't heard that in sooooo long!
I say that to my daughter all the time as she goes to school. From a Hunter Thompson quote: “Don’t take no guff from those swine”.
Maine Justice! I loved it!
Where’s the video 😢
Excellent ❤
You saw “The Longest Day” at 7 ? Chicken feed … my dad took me to see “Stalag 17” at 7 ! 💥
Is this Jason's Soft Opening on "Fly on the Wall" ?.😂 Jason "Yah Yah Yah Yah Yah {said quickly his trademark ~ "Regine"}
GD I’m so excited!
Funniest podcast ever
Wish y’all were on serious satellite
An interview with Vance!
It's sad that stories about old SNL are more interesting than the current season today.
Wtf man, can somebody get carvey onboard with video? You know what’s a million times better than this? The sudeikis, norm and Miller radio interview. BECAUSE VIDEOOOOOOOOOOO DANA…

This podcast would be huge if you would go on camera.
Hello David, good job.
What is the book that Jason recommended?
Does this pod plan to record video one day?
170th view!! Help these guys pay bills!
id argue the sudeikis years with wiig / armisen / hader / sandberg rivaled any other top era.

You are certainly not AFC Richmond material and should be relegated to the Karen League.
I've been listening to you two knuckleheads' podcast for awhile. Very entertaining.

Detroiters was heartbreaking,,,, some eye wateringly funny moments but way too many lulls...

If millionaires are allowed to beg for views and listens, aren't we?
That wasn’t a bad Stephen A by Spade! 😂
For a second I thought that was Steven A.
I still say jimmy Fallon ruined cowbell.
I would watch hours of Dana talk into a potato
more MILLER !!!
I want to let you both know, when I listen to this pod, I am sitting in a chair, staring a blank wall, not moving.
Not much to do in your cell?
Tommy showed you how it's done and yet there's still no video.. c'mon, guys! get it together!
