Chris Redd is an underrated contributor in this cast. Literally, every time he's on camera is hilarious. Even when he doesn't speak and just looks at the camera is hilarious 🤣

I would say overrated... none of his impressions work. Even Her Michael Rap better than his Stephen A. And it is not good... the perk works.....
He is neither underrated or overrated. He is the breakout star this season hands down so he is not underrated. Most of his impressions do work so he is not overrated. In fact one of the best skits all season is when he did an impression of Mayor Eric Adams. He is also in a new Fan Duel commercial doing a bit as the voice inside Charles Barkley's head. He is awesome and hilarious indeed.

Natasha playing Michael Rappaport who once kicked her out of her apartment (he was the landlord, I think) and then went public about it is pure gold. Idk if they’re friends now but this is great.
My understanding is that they are friends now. She was going through a lot of drugs at the time and were a nightmare tennant and she owns that completely. She is long sober now and, at least a few years ago, he said she was like a sister, so I am assuming that this is with all the love in the world.
The fact that Natasha Lyonne was very bad off on drugs and she Completely changed her life. And is now doing amazing. As an addict myself it is something I love to see. Amazing!! Beautiful!! Encouraging!!! Hopeful!! She didn’t just clean up …she got right back into acting and became the bad ass bicth she was before she even started drugs!! Love her!! And everybody hurting.! There is another side!!

I said it in January and I'll say it again, Chris and Keenan are at the TOP of their game in these ESPN parodies. Chris's impressions of Stephen A and Eric Adams are Hall of Fame level.

This is made funnier by knowing theres history between Natasha Lyonne and Michael Rapaport (he was her landlord, evicted her while she was on drugs. This was over 15 years ago and they remain friends)

He got the voice and the mannerisms right, but he was about 80 times too smart for the average Kendrick Perkins segment.
Natasha Lyonne was one of the best hosts for the 2021-'22 season. She was given some great characters & dialogue, granted.

Probably won’t happen. I heard Natasha Lyonne left the cast after this show, setting the record for the shortest stint at SNL. Maybe we’ll see it again if she comes back as a host
@@MarcosElMalo2 but they can do it without that character. The last first take sketch didn’t have her in it. They only need Molly, Stephen A. and the last dude I’m forgetting (and all of those actors are regular cast members) They can just write others in there as one offs if they want, which is often what they do with the host in these sort of situations.

based on the fact that this was kate, aidy, pete, and kyle’s last episode, they probably prioritized their sketches. plus they already had the baseball sketch with natasha WHICH WAS HYSTERICAL.

IMO, Jay Pharaoh’s impression was more accurate. He was more accurate in the mannerisms and subtleties. BUT Redd is MUCH more funny. His impression is over the top, and exaggerated. It’s great.

I’ve watched this sketch around 30 times since it was released and it’s still funny.. Chris Redd steals the show in this one, but they all did really well! I need more Chris Redd as Stephen A Smith! Kenan kills it as Perk! “My grandmother spent four months on a ventilator!”
Considering the history Natasha had with Rapaport this has a much deeper layer of humor. She didn’t need to nail the impression, she got to the core.
