At long last we get to see oil based paint going through the graco well done john great video,im guessing it would normally take 20 mins to paint door with brush and roller both sides so even allowing for cleaning the sprayer plus masking tape over hinges your saving a couple of hours probably, plus the sheer boredom of painting doors is gone and looks like a much nicer finish with spray gun
back in the 70s I sprayed old bangers with BQ gloss because the compressor I had was a low pressure I used to boil the paint on the stove to keep it thinned a good finish though and im still here to tell the tale

Hi, I have the graco ultra max and had an issue when I was trying to spray ronseal knotting solution and undercoat, after my first door the machine clogged up. Then I wanted to use high gloss non drip paint by dulux but changed my mind and used a brush and mini roller instead to avoid dealing with blockage. Would you suggest thinning oil based paint before putting it through a spray gun?
Just bought one, had the same problem as you (I think) The solution was to remove the filter under the pump. If you have a bad quality paint you have to sieve the paint for big particles. And when you are using the green tip from graco it is very sensitive for paint with big particles inside of it. The blue tip is not that sensitive but you cant use it (I believe) because the paint pump is to small
@@camdecorations9779 'should' but in reality I heard they can go much quicker. Especially if you used lots of water to flush it through while cleaning as that all totals the wear on the pump.
