Hiya Toys have been doing an amazing job with the 1/18th scale figures and Robocop and ED209 are no different. Robocop is still a nice figure, despite some sloppy paint. ED209 is awesome on his own. Adding the impressive articulation and sound effects elevate the figure to another level. By the way, the h shaped pieces are called i brackets. They are used to connect the display stands together just in case you decide to have yourself a diorama display setup by utilizing multiple figures. This looks awesome! I know what you mean about first seeing the Robocop movie. A friend of mine and I snuck into a screening during the second week of its release in 1987 and while we enjoyed the film, we weren't prepaired for how gruesomely violent it was. We were 13 at the time.😅

I like the way they got the original RoboCop with the gray RoboCop 2 with the blue metal that is exactly how he look in the movies
That set is pretty badass Dean. I didn't realize how small it was till you started doing the articulation and robo was in your hands. Right off the bat I want to say Ed 209 looks way better than Robocop as far as paint wise. It almost looks like Robocop is rough if that makes any sense. He should be smooth like Ed to 209's paint. Same. I was like "that is pretty good" until I saw how small it was, then I was amazed by the details.
Nice review Dean you done it justice a know it’s small but they do make a great set,They do a Cain so if a can find it a will grab that for you in future

@@deanknight333 A know the quality on paint isn’t up to scratch on Robos face paint but overall the figure doesn’t look out of place,

Just bought this set today while hunting for Kaneda’s bike from Akira. I feel I came up, even though I didn’t find the bike, I got me an ED 209 and Robocop.

So cool! Any chance of telling how you strip the paint off the Myers mask? Lol I've tried a few different ways and it seems pretty much impossible.
Buddy: "let's go see RoboCop" - me: "what's that, sounds dumb but sure whatever". Murphy's death: "holy shit that may have scarred me for life." ED-209 goes off "man, that was a bit much wasn't it this shit's intense" etc etc -TOXIC WASTE man and SPLAT!

yeh i've been on the Hiya toys collection for a while... Had my Clean Robo 2 for a couple of years now.

I'll say this much, for the size, they did a better job on the face sculpt of this little guy than Because did on their larger model. The helmet on Neca's is...angled? Wide at the bottom and then kind of tapers going up, I stead of staying somewhat universally oval.
