Great video as always 😊 I just got a killer and I need a routing template but couldn't find anything on your website or the internet, what should I do please?
@@hamzamhenna1422 yeah, we don’t have one because they were all meant to go to OEMs that made their own templates. Trace the bottom of the plate to make your own template. The posts of the killer go in the outside screws of an American fender 6 hole bridge.
Regarding the depth adjustment on the standard arm module: I have two HM Strats with Spyders. One has an arm hole that is hollow/empty, and the other has an arm hole that is plugged. Is it possible to add the depth adjustment to either of those? Also, I have two different NOS Auto-Latch kits, but I have yet to install them. You’re saying an updated version of the Auto-Latch will be available in January? What specific improvements have been made to it?
@@jacksonmanuel33 if the plug has a Allen head it has the adjustment. It would be 1/8”. If the hole is threaded you can put the adjustment in. If it does not you can’t. The older ones typically were not threaded. The new Auto-Latch can’t really be discussed now because it isn’t under patent yet but it won’t be the one you want for a Spyder. The current one is the one that fits our Spyder, Killer, and Auto-Latch ready Steeler blocks.
I didn't even know Kahler made fulcrum style vibratos. How aren't these trems all over guitar youtube? The features alone put them head and shoulders above a Floyd Rose. More so if they match or exceed OFR quality. A Kahler will be my next upgrade when I need to replace a whammy.
@@domoniquebrooks816 if you want our most advanced fulcrum (Floyd Rose style) it’s the Steeler Professional with either an Auto-Latch or a Godiva block.
I’m a hardtail only guy for 25 years now. I can handle a strat because they are easy to deck. But i don’t even buy floyds anymore and id never buy a kahler, or bigby. Or anything. I just like teles and gibson tune o matic bridges. I just don’t know how to control pitch with my right hand
@@Ottophil did you know that you CANNOT bend a Kahler cam whammy bar out of tune with your right hand on accident? It’s true! They are designed in such a way that it is impossible to bend them sharp unless you want to. Many people deck their bridges because of that very problem with a floating fulcrum, and it is a real problem. But because the Kahler cam saddles are separate from the cam that problem doesn’t exist with cam bridges. I always say the cam based Kahler is perfect for people who want a cam whammy bar but lack the ability to properly operate one. If you are ever in Las Vegas you can come by the factory and see for yourself. And if you can Bend a cam based Kahler out of tune just by playing it I’ll give you $100
@ what I’m talking about is i don’t know how to bend with my right hand on purpose. Those decked ones have the bars removed. I don’t want to bend notes with that hand.
@@Timanator actually the Kahler Steeler Traditional is much closer to a Floyd Rose. However, my preference is the Kahler Steeler Professional. The pro is super advanced.
