Sandoval's voice and music is like a warm blanket when I'm feeling lonely and depressed, which is very often these days. If you like melancholic loner songwriter music (like I do) you should check out Mark Kozelek, Tiny Vipers and Ali Murray. They all write such incredibly sorrowful yet beautiful songs.
Legendary folk musician Bert Jansch (from the U.K) sings/plays on this song. I think Hope stated she almost fainted when she learned she'd be playing with him. The film "Inside Llewyn Davis" (2013) brought me here. It's about the folk-revival scene of 1961. Cheers!

Hope does vocals and contributes some to the instrumental arrangements, but there's quite a variety of other people who appear on the album.

she never left us, of course her first dream with Opal is now passed as did her friend Kendra Smith. I grew up with Sylvia Gomez in LA and she says the band is just in a dormant stage. Hope really feels out of place on stage but shall indeed release more work in the studio.
