My girlfriend was tragically killed while riding her motorcycle shortly after we'd moved in together. Hope's voice helped me navigate the sadness of life and loss. I still listen to fade into you and into dust often. Hope's vocals always take me back to a magical summer of overly vivid colors that included emerald green eyes and auburn waterfall curls. I'll always appreciate the gentle delivery and intelligent lyrics from this talented artist.
Yep, music can be a great healer. A week prior to Ian Curtis death my younger brother aged 14 got killed in a car crash as a passenger. Joy Division would help me a lot to overcome my sadness and misery. And yes, Hope is such a wonderful artist, fairy like.

It was a very lucky thing to get to experience that much great music when those bands were at their peaks.

I’ve been a Hope fan since the 90s, just checked out Lana after reading comments but saw no relation. Lana is an overproduced commercial product, if she was ever influenced by Hope she certainly didn’t learn much from her.
I wish I had a way to show Hope what her music meant to me. I know If I were to meet her in person I wouldn't be able to articulate the 1% of what I have to say. It's crazy to think about it.
