Thank you for the informative and insightful video. With 32-bit float and +9db in the DJI receiver and transmitter as well as +6db in the AcePro 2, I finally achieved very good results for myself. Best regards and many thanks from Germany foto-gustav
Good demonstration. One potential limitation that I noticed is that you would need to unplug the DJI receiver to get to the left tab on the screen to flip it up.
Whilst I can see problems cropping up I have found that Insta360 are pretty good with firmware updates so I expect most of the issues found to be resolved fairly quickly. They STILL support my old One X over 6 years after its launch so they are way better than most others for support
I tried using the VideoMic GO II as well with direct USB and just got pulsing static (used the USB-C cable included wiht the rode mic). I pluged the same mic and cable into a DJI Action 5 and it worked fine.
Just curious: Did you try adjusting the gain on the DJI receiver? It seems like it would be better than increasing the gain to +9 on the Ace Pro, but it sounded fine.
For anyone who's interested, the Shure MV88+ USB mic also does NOT work on the Ace Pro 2, which is a shame as it works brilliantly with the DJI Pocket 3.

Glad it was helpful!
Excellent demonstration!❤❤
Glad you liked it!

It’s awkward, but you can actually use the DJI receiver to push the button.
Thank you, great video. Yes there is still a long way to go for insta. DJI is still the king when it comes to connecting external microphones.
Agreed…and that goes for wired and wireless.

Same here.

I did play around with both, and got similar results.
@ttl_channel gotcha. Because the recommended settings for nine. The fx30 which I used on the a6700 are +9 on the DJI receiver. Just FYI.
Standard Insta!

Seems to be a common theme!
Can insta360 x4 be like that? I can't use it on insta360 x4
Unfortunately not, the X4 requires the mic adapter (pr connect via Bluetooth)
