That is literally me. I started playing a week ago. And I always have to look up videos of anything I enjoy always striving to get better and of course it was a obvious choice to stumble my way to your channel MR. Robot. Your videos are amazing that I’ve seen. And what I like most about you/your channel is you are so chill, it would a lot of fun to play with you (I’m Psyker lvl 24 as of now.)
@@GamingForGains Well if you ever become a Channel Member in future and you find my streams worthwhile, definitely :). But it's probably best to watch the streams first to get a feel for things and see if you like the vibe! Also, I am in Australia, so ping might be a thing lol
Psyker main here, some observations: - Trauma staff is great for holding hallways and blowing Ragers to bits, it got a bit of an improvement recently, but its still meh. - Surge staff is _not_ for CC anymore, it is hard damage only now. If you have the desire to use lightning for CC, the only real way to do it now is with Smite. Smite, along with the power evolution that lets you stack six warp charges, can last long enough to let you kill Crushers on damnation and even Auric. The CC effect from it is so much better that it can lock down any corridor you're holding out in. Otherwise I essentially agree. - Purgatis staff is my main staff, and I'm the most experienced with it with any weapon. Pro tip: Do NOT use the left click to try to get flame procs to kill an enemy, it is massively slower. The right click fires and processes stacks of fire at the _server tick rate,_ so in one second spamming with the left click, you might get three stacks if you're lucky, whereas with the right click you will get between sixty to ninety chances to get a flame stack depending on charge time. It is also more beneficial to farm warp charges, fully exhaust a full charge, then immediately switch to Smite so now not only is everything burning, but you're hard CC'ing with the hard CC ability too. - Voidstrike is the only real Psyker DPS weapon. Surge and Purgatis are crowd affecting, but this is the crowd _kill_ staff. If you have a friend that likes running Purgatis, and you're a psyker that wants to be shooting things, this is the one for you because the charged ball has infinite cleave, it will go through the entire crowd, and if you full charge it, it will hit as hard as a bolter, and the explosion radius is nearly 3x that of the bolter. _NEVER_ spam leftclick with it, it will build peril way faster than you expect, and you do almost no damage. Let your allies control the crowd, and just start calmly blowing through them.
thank you for this additional insight, although I will correct that Purgatus is the crowd kill staff, not the Voidstrike but Voidstrike is solid at it too. Void sacrifices aoe for additional damage, making it more of a single target/crowd clear hybrid, vs Purgatus which is all out crowd clear also Trauma is still massively underrated. it's at minimum on par with all the other staffs if you use it to its strengths
Haha, you must be meeting some sad psykers. Mine are worse though, they don't use Assail enough when they bring it. I've literally made multiple builds about it so I know what it can do. Everything should be dead so I can focus on heavy armored targets. Instead the Assail Psyker does shit all and leaves me to do everything 🤣🤣. I'd rather have your randoms than mine 😏😏
Hey! It's my favorite Asian Robot, and Darktide Partner! I'm currently doing a Veteran build so this information will be extremely helpful in the future. I'm glad you are updating your videos, nobody really seems to be hoping on the information train since Darktide dropped for Xbox. Thank you, you've made me a better Veteran, and you're helping me understand my potential teammates strengths, and weaknesses.
No problem. Next week I will hopefully be working on the Veteran to add some Robot builds into the mix. Also a lot of folks don't update stuff because they never cared about the audience in the first place, I always did ;).
@@RealAsianRobot I'm looking forward too it. I'm on Xbox, so I've been dying to play this game, and I'm thoroughly enjoying it. I see myself putting too much time into this game with how in depth just 4 classes are.
Thanks for more epic darktide content for me to consume!!! Seriously lol love the vids man thanks for being so a great educational resource for this dope game. Can't wait to hit 30 and start dipping my toes into the harder content in the game!!!
New Darktide player, oldschool tabletop runner, badass guide, as a newb really digging Trauma for quick stagger, hopefully they fix it but looks like im going Voidstrike, lol
This is a little outdated btw. The voidstrike was nerfed in Patch #14 though it does feature in several of the recent builds for the current patch of the game (Patch #15). The voidstrike is generally a very solid and potent choice for that that want to shatter enemies. Welcome to Darktide and I hope you keep enjoying my content 😁👍
Oh is it? That's a change. Thanks for letting me know. Used to be a standard range, with radius increasing the size of the cloud itself. Either way it is a Stat that needs to be maximized. Can't do without it else the staff will fail it's primary purpose of burning everything in relatively close range.
Hello, I am new to Darktide. Have been playing a couple days and using your content to get an understanding of the game. Firstly, keep up the good work amazing content. Secondly I have been using an Smite and surge staff build I have made upon hitting level 30. I have unlimited smite on stacks of 3 when needed to hold of hordes or freeze everything so team can clean. Surge staff to melt enemies. Built is fantastic, the unlimited smite when using the purple buff means I can hold until I cancel or get hit which is immensely useful
Yeah except that this is a bug which may get removed lol. So I highly suggest not relying on it. Empowered Psionics is NOT supposed to give you unlimited smite. For now enjoy it, but they will most likely patch it eventually 🤣🤣. Have fun with the game and welcome to Darktide
The "follow up" is because sometimes you are built to ALMOST 1-shot and that follow up essentially covers the gap and polishes off the sliver. Once you know what can save another charge, THAT is when you start adding in. Kinda like how sometimes your heavy hit won't get the kill but you know what enemy just needs a quick attack combo.
Well... Me again. This video was great. This video is where the rubber met the road for me. This demonstration along with the fine print points you provided really instilled my confidence in your judgment. Maybe I overlooked it blatantly but I didn't realize charging the purge staff was that important. I've been VERY guilty of doing quick bursts. I didn't know I couldn't stagger maulers either!!!💀
For Purg just know two things: 1) Primary Attack is to be spammed, its your stagger and CC option. Abuse it 2) Charge attack for bigger hordes or mixed hordes, it has low stagger but GREAT damage. It's also used for Bosses ;) As long as you know when to use the Primary Attack and when to charge, you will be fine. I recommend taking a look at my Purgatus Build for the latest patch and you will see great results :D
You don't and it is impossible to do so. Anyone who tells you that you can is very high on Stims or literally does not know what they are talking about. You can weakspot hit only with the trauma staff primary attack I'm afraid
@RealAsianRobot LOL & dang thanks for the response. Would've made a lot of sense had they remove those non-existent stats (Weakspot/Weakspot critical) especially since they went out of their way to actually do the number as if you could 😂😂 troll of the century right there.
Thanks 😁✌️. Just take note that Voidstrike is no longer the king. Trauma staff is better now that Voidstrike was nerfed because Trauma has a uniquely powerful blessing that no one else can beat.
The.reason for the voidstrike weird strat of secondary + primary insta combo is for a limited purpose, but it's for single target scenarios when you know you haven't enough time to charge a powerful secondary, but want to finish off an elite quick, and with quell on weakspot + high warp resist, you can get away with spamming it for elite crews. Practicing this is good because when enemies stagger or get blown back by the secondary, you have a split second to predict the general trajectory of where the enemy's head or body will be (think like an easier version of airshotting with rockets in tf2) and finish them off reliably. Even better if you can also practice reliable headshots with primary bolt in all situations with the staff perk and warp resist, then you will be keeping your peril manageable for much longer, which means uninterrupted damage output and cc. Dodge sliding + a well timed duck means you will also be harder to hit while casting with staff. This takes a specific staff Stat and perk and a good deal of practice, but it is useful when you are occasionally bombarded with elites--just my 2 cents
That's a fair opinion, I just have never once seem a need for it in even the toughest situations as usually it would be better to launch 2 fully charged shots through an elite horde and finish off any straggler with a 3rd charged shot that you know will kill them. Probably just a difference in playstyle really. I'm the type that thinks of the Voidstrike as pure artillery
@@RealAsianRobot yes, ideally you want to just use consecutive secondaries, and that's what I recommend 85% of the time. The remaining percent is when your team is out in the open and reloading, and you need to cc gunners, or if disabler elites such as hounds or trappers are upon you
Surge staff and smite will both randomly activate weakpoint hits for the purposes of the talent that guarantees a crit on the hit after 5 weakpoint hits. The damage multiplier doesn't seem to apply, but it will count as a weakpoint hit for your 100% crit.
I love the Trauma Staff, very good controller just like RealAsianRobot said, with the right perks it not only destroy horde enemies but also tenderize stronger enemies or horde enemies that got caught by its impact, making it easy for your teammates to navigate through damaged enemies.
Haha, naaah, they are ranged :). Guns are generally not a smart choice because ammo gets competitive in Auric Damnation lol. It can be a drain on the limited team resources
I think you can actually hit enemies with them... but you're not going to do all that much. If you need to melee, better to swap to your dedicated melee
i don't know if it still exist but i remember a perk i think it was a blessing? that allowed team mates to do weakspot dmg to a traget after a requirement was met. this would allow the surge staff charge attack to do weakspot dmg but idk if that blessing still exist or if it was a talent that reqires a bad build to get
Should not be possible without an exploit or an unknown If you find out the blessing or the passive, let me know haha. I'm willing to test in my unmodded game with friends. For now I can't think of anything like that (to my knowledge anyway)
I get that the trauma staff isnt great on its own, but what about when it has that rending shockwave/brittleness blessing? I've heard you can do a lot of fun stuff with that.
I have it and it's weaksauce to me. I can outdo it with literally any other staff, especially the voidstrike staff. I've tried it in combat with the brittleness blessing and it still cannot eliminate crushers as quickly as you'd like. The Surge offers faster and better targeting as well as damage (and a faster cast time). In the highest intensity missions, speed is everything unfortunately. So yeaaaah, I'm not into the Trauma staff right now. If you like it though, go for it. I just find the area and charge up too small to be of real value and the skill required to target it properly is not easy to apply in the field. Risk and reward don't add up in my opinion
I personally find the trauma staff to be damn good. Sure it's no where in the league of the void strike but neither is any weapon in the game at the moment. It can slap damage out for a staff that focuses on CC'ing everything. I prefer the CC the trauma staff brings compared to the surge as I can control it better. Add on top the rending to everything and it's gonna trivialize most encounters. Hard disagree that it's the weakest staff.
@@alexconnor5110 That's fine, if you like it, you can use it. However, it DOES NOT trivialize any encounters. I have thoroughly tested it in Auric Damnation and even with a full charge (and brittleness blessing), my team would be saved had I used a Surge or Voidstrike staff. With the Trauma staff, my team gets wiped much more quickly because it has a longer kill time. In a pre-made team these factors are heavily diluted of course, but I must tell you that its damage is LOWER than all other staffs even with a full charge and its charge time is longer compared to a Surge Staff. At anything below Auric level, then it's absolutely fine to use it and it will be comparable to other staffs in the game (however all of my commentary must be made with the highest difficulty in mind so it is applicable to the full game).
@alexconnor5110 Possibly, but I also feel that weapon tastes account for a lot of differences. For some folks Trauma is intuitive, other staffs are not. For me, every staff but the Trauma staff is intuitive. So personal playstyle differences, I guess 😁. For instance, Purg I could use blindfolded, but others find the Purg staff difficult to grasp and utilize properly
Hey man. I think a video about each psyker power and its uses should be in order. I know you have shown your build , but, as an example, in a full premade team, smite is king over all other powers. Maybe people want to play also something else besides the quill. I've had 4 quills today in my team, it's exhausting.
There is a Smite build in the works that has passed Auric Damnation, be patient and it will drop. That said, NOT every power is suitable for everything. Sure in a premade Smite is great, but again, only 15% of players play in premades. Most are randoms, so my content will cater for the optimized situation first and then niche situations second. Make sure to tune into streams as well, if you missed tonight's stream, we tested out a Smite Psyker live ;)
idk if the trauma staff got buffed since this video came out, but it's actually really good. it takes much longer to charge than the surge staff, but deals the same damage to many more targets and has the best crowd control out of any of the staffs with how much it staggers literally everything. trauma staff is a roughly single target damage dealer with large aoe crowd control, whereas the surge staff is a single target damage dealer and roughly "single target" crowd controller. I underestimated this magic grenade launcher too before I really took it into high level matches. it really relies on higher stats so it feels useless at low levels
Trauma is good, but is much slower for the fastest levels of gameplay. It was mostly used for the value of Rending Shockwave in the past but now it's in kind of a weird spot again. It does have some nice CC but it's annoying for vets to miss headshots because you knocked everything down. For this reason Surge/Smite is a superior combo from both a teamplay and carrying perspective. That said, you can get great value out of a trauma staff for sure, it's just lacking in some areas. If it's AoE was 50% larger while charge time remained the same, it would probably be the best staff in the game. That's the only thing holding it back right now.
@@RealAsianRobot it already offers way more value than the surge staff. it's biggest weakness is speed, and that isnt much of a problem since it creates its own space with lower charged attacks, in fact it only gets more and more difficult to deny its value the higher the intensity you consider. I get what you're saying with the headshots though, but then say that instead of it being bad, or "dont take this into combat" if I can quote. it's a great staff and should be laid out for its pros and cons like everything else
@soloshottie yeah but at the time of the video. It was not a great choice. It was only ever used as a debuffer and though it enjoyed some moderate success, it has gone back in the current patch to being overshadowed by the other staffs. Even now, nobody really uses it much. Again, I am speaking strictly from an Auric Maelstrom/Damnation ONLY perspective. Trauma offers much lower value than the Surge because the Surge kills very quickly even while flicking your aim around as it has an autoaim feature added in. The Trauma requires that you aim, this difference in milliseconds adds up over time in addition to what is already a HUGE negative for the Veteran trying to hit their headshots. Hence why, although I can see your perspective, I would never encourage anyone to use the Trauma staff over any of the other staffs in the game currently as they are each more specialized for their builds of choice. However, if you find that it is what gives you the best success rate in Auric Maelstrom/Damnation, then keep using it and enjoying it in your own way.
@@RealAsianRobot surge kills very quickly, but it kills very few enemies at a time. trauma kills slower, but kills far more at a time. plus you only have to aim before you finalize your shot, and if aim were a reason for it to be dismissed then voidstrike is off the table. trauma doesnt see much use because frankly, it's the most misunderstood and high skill weapon, alongside people having bad experiences with it early on because they dont know what its purpose is and it relying more heavily on high stats (and high enemy density) than any other staff. I see the point of it being harder to land weakspots, but they'll thank you when you save their lives with those staggers. just describe it for what it is, so people can make their own impressions on whether it fills the role they want in their build better than the other staffs or not
Yup. This was done in Patch 13. They nerfed it in 14 because everyone whined that psykers were op lol. Now if you want the power just play Vet with Plasma
It always has been :). Even if you check the older builds I had for Purg, crits are very important as the double soulblaze stacks are a MASSIVE boost to DPS
Interesting point you've made with the smite special ability that lets it chain to a +1. I wonder, if you don't take the +1 does it still do the same damage but to less mobs meaning you kill them quicker? I'll be testing that tonight
Let me know your results, the +1 is more for the Smite ability itself. It's practically useless on the Surge (imo), I do the same with or without it frankly.
@brg8245 great! I always answer comments so I will try to provide what help I can, but the best way to learn is from streams 😁✌️. That's when you can see hardcore matches in action. Thanks for checking out my content and welcome to Darktide
I started playing recently, is Voidstrike still the "best" staff a month later? I don't have enogh resources and have to be choosy at the moment. Thanks for the guide btw.
It can be very good thanks to Smite now hitting Weakspots. I have an excellent build that many are using now. Here you go pal ruclips.net/video/CyI9kyQiS2Q/видео.htmlsi=YUWnE0vrQJwQhGfB

Add on top the rending to everything and it's gonna trivialize most encounters. Hard disagree that it's the weakest staff.
Do the other types of staff all fall under these categories, even if they have different names? I currently have an Inferno staff, an Electrokinetic staff, and a Voidblast (not voidstrike) staff.
I'm currently leveling a psyker using the purgatus staff and brain rupture with venting shriek and creeping flames in order to maximize the amount of soulblaze, I'm only at level 20 so far so I haven't yet got in fire reborn, but that perk sounds absolutely amazing for a pyro build. I have heard a lot of other players trying to work smite or assail into this general build path in order to get access to warp charges with a more AOE focused blitz ability, is the purgatus staff a good choice to use for hordes so you can use brain rupture to focus down high value targets at range? (If people just tagged them instead of hosing them down with ammo the second they spot them I mean...)
Well nobody really uses it at the highest levels of gameplay because everyone has huge amounts of horde clear these days haha. Feel free to keep going with it if you like it, try out the Purgatus build on my channel if you want something for level 30
I believe the last void strike build was with assail in patch #15. That vid will explain my choices and other things you might need. Before Darktide became a Ghost town, I would make a build for each patch that players could refer to.
What blows my mind about this is that the voidstrike staff was already an amazing weapon. I saw that they buffed it in my first response was "why though?"
@yeffaros8419 Because to be fair in the old iteration of the game, it's armor penetration was dogshit and it was ineffective at Auric level (except for a few psychos who swore by it). The Purg and Surge reigned Supreme. In this new iteration the Voidstrike trades up speed for Raw Power and has become a plasma gun that is limitless basically lol. Auric runs with the current enemy stats would be hell without these awesome staves and mechanic changes. As it is I cannot carry randos to a win, they have to actually work for it and play semi skillfully. So it remains challenging. If you play Ina group of friends, then it will definitely be overpowered because team coordination is 50% of the success rate 🤣
This is covered in build videos ad information changes with every patch. In fact even this updated version of the video would be considered outdated info now. Best way to learn about the staffs/blessings/builds is to check the build vids for the class after any patch. Right now we are on patch #16 for about 2 months so lots of things are still valid haha
Your choice honestly. I've showcased 3 different styles already, purg, surge and voidstrike. All of them work. You can see the build vids on the channel in fact 😁
@@RealAsianRobot gotchu i have been using surge but seeing that it does only affect 2 enemies per charge im switching it up to the voidstrike wouldnt have known without this video. Thanks!
So I’m running a smite build what would you recommend the void strike or the flame staff I really love both of them the range and damage of the void is crazy but I also love the flame staff and it’s crowd control and soul blaze build up what would you recommend?
Voidstrike. If you go Purg you are most likely gimping your team by removing ranged capabilities. It also depends on the difficulty you play. If you play anything below Damnation, you can do whatever you like with no consequences so just play what you feel is the most fun for you. For Damnation and Auric runs, you are strictly relegated to fully optimized loadouts. So never use Smite with anything other than the Surge/Voidstike. That said, you can also refer to my smite build dropping later tonight
Hey @RealAsianRobot, I know this isn't the subject of the video, but I wans't able to find a link for the discord. I'm trying really hard to do the Warp Battery Penance, but it won't ever complete, after the last update/balance, are we supposed to do the 300 seconds in a row? Without loosing any stacks?
My discord is only available to channel members. If you're talking about the Fatshark Official Discord for this game, I believe its at the top right hand side of their website, under social media
@@MarcioMFTMAh then yeah, mine is for Channel members only :). But no they didn't change it, do report any bugs to Fatshark via Forums if you encounter them!
I bought the game on Steam to support the Devs after the update to start fresh from gamepass and just got a surge staff this morning... Not liking it now tbh Purg and Void seem to be where its at now..
Yeah Purg and Void are the kings right now. Surge is a decent choice, but it's hyper specialized and requires strong management to really do the best it can! Welcome back to Darktide btw :D. It's good to see old faces coming back!
I appreciate the mechanic over view for the staff it was very helpful. Do you happen to know any resources available for blessing and property specific breakpoints? I'm having a hard time finding anything for that. I don't know what I should be putting on my staffs. Thanks.
You can follow the builds I have made on my channel to see what is best used. I also demonstrate the effectiveness of such blessings on stream, but other than very CORE blessings for some builds, most of the time you do have a good bit of freedom. Warp Flurry is a must have more or less though, faster charge is beautiful on all staffs!
I haven't tried Psyker yet, but last night 3 of us got downed with like 3 trash mob zombies left, and the psyker literally had half his health and he ran from them in a corner, jabbed them with his staff and got downed.. It was the most pathetic thing I've ever seen. I was wondering what kind of weakness that was but now I get it, NEVER do that with the staff..
Good content! When the best indicator that i should be increasing the difficulty? Im lvl 13 and still on the beginner difficulty. Do i just increase until i cant handle it, or is there a level indicator for each difficulty
Have you watched my newbie guide video? Make sure to watch that vid first 😁👍. It was released yesterday. In general you should just grind till 30 using Uprising/Malice difficulty (level 2 and 3). But please do watch the newbie guide video, it will help teach you a lot about the game
How the hell are you getting +70% in every stat on these weapons? I'm rolling for staffs and getting like 15% damage. I was deadass under the impression that all the various stats added up to 100. Have I just had dogshit rolls since the game first came out?
honestly i wish the flamestaff and lightening staff had different loadstones at the top. the eagles on trauma and voidstaffs look great, but the flame and lightening staffs have those dumb Eye and I plaques on top and they just look so unweildy and silly to me. i mean, im no stranger to the no style all numbers of MMORPGs, my Warcraft shaman had bright orange pants because RNG said no style for me for far too long, but still.. lucky the Voidstaff is top tier rn i guess.
Voidstrike was nerfed in the latest patch. It is currently okayish lol. But anyway, each staff is shaped to distinguish it. The appearance doesn't bother me. I focus only on results most of the time.
@RealAsianRobot fair enough mate, and yeah it makes sense they use the item appearance to distinguish them apart, it's practical as heck -finding them in your inventory, other players working out what powers you are bringing at a glance and all that. I miss transmog though. Hopefully they will bring out alternate skins that will be cooler, style and cool factor are bigger for me that you I think. Probably why I'm not a top tier player in other games XD
@last2nkow fair enough, and transmogs are a thing but most weapon skins are paid for and they're not worth it compared to character skins honestly lol. That said, yeah, it's function over style for me. I only care about having a sick skin for my character (cause no armor in the game anyway) and after that, I focus purely on weapon stats and functionality. If everything is dead, I am happy
@Endendros Actually Surge is already proven to work well with Smite in Auric Damnation vs High Intensity Shock Troopers. I'm going to test other staffs to see what is optimal, but you can check my most recent stream to see it a preview of what to expect
If your team has good dps, use smite and the middle purple tree for infinite smite when you have stacks. Pretty good CC. Been using it to do malice missions, but not sure how it does in higher difficulty’s

Void sacrifices aoe for additional damage, making it more of a single target/crowd clear hybrid, vs Purgatus which is all out crowd clear
also Trauma is still massively underrated. it's at minimum on par with all the other staffs if you use it to its strengths
I’m new to the game. Do you mind sharing your build? I’m a little ignorant on how to get high flame stacks.

Everything should be dead so I can focus on heavy armored targets. Instead the Assail Psyker does shit all and leaves me to do everything 🤣🤣.

The maximum range of the purgatus staff is actually determined by the cloud radius stat.

Lack of sleep just means you aren't quelling your peril well. Try not to explode.
Haha I'm alright today
my favorite real asian robot just saved me from deleting two weapons i thought sucked! thanks psyker is sooooooo fun!
Happy to help 😁👍
The "follow up" is because sometimes you are built to ALMOST 1-shot and that follow up essentially covers the gap and polishes off the sliver. Once you know what can save another charge, THAT is when you start adding in. Kinda like how sometimes your heavy hit won't get the kill but you know what enemy just needs a quick attack combo.
The health bar mod is really good at demonstrating this, kinda surprised no-ones made a full breakpoint calculator yet though
Learning with the perg staff, putting on the talent "2ndary attack can not be interrupted" is quite helpful
Well...
For Purg just know two things:
1) Primary Attack is to be spammed, its your stagger and CC option. Abuse it
2) Charge attack for bigger hordes or mixed hordes, it has low stagger but GREAT damage. It's also used for Bosses ;)
As long as you know when to use the Primary Attack and when to charge, you will be fine. I recommend taking a look at my Purgatus Build for the latest patch and you will see great results :D
So how do you Weakspot hit with the Trauma Staff secondary is what we all wanna know
You don't and it is impossible to do so. Anyone who tells you that you can is very high on Stims or literally does not know what they are talking about.
You can weakspot hit only with the trauma staff primary attack I'm afraid
@RealAsianRobot LOL & dang thanks for the response. Would've made a lot of sense had they remove those non-existent stats (Weakspot/Weakspot critical) especially since they went out of their way to actually do the number as if you could 😂😂 troll of the century right there.
awesome vid, pretty much got all the info i wanted
Thanks 😁✌️. Just take note that Voidstrike is no longer the king. Trauma staff is better now that Voidstrike was nerfed because Trauma has a uniquely powerful blessing that no one else can beat.
@@RealAsianRobot good catch, will check it out
New player here I really do appreciate you uploading this guide.
No problem! I'm here to be your number 1 creator ;)
The remaining percent is when your team is out in the open and reloading, and you need to cc gunners, or if disabler elites such as hounds or trappers are upon you
@loner8325 yeah if it's more to get the Gunners ducking. Then I can definitely justify the quick throw.
Surge staff and smite will both randomly activate weakpoint hits for the purposes of the talent that guarantees a crit on the hit after 5 weakpoint hits. The damage multiplier doesn't seem to apply, but it will count as a weakpoint hit for your 100% crit.
Yeah, this is known :)
😂 The Wok is insane….first 20 sec in and I’m in tears, you have earned a subscriber in me
Glad to hear it. The Wok is here to entertain and inform
I love the Trauma Staff, very good controller just like RealAsianRobot said, with the right perks it not only destroy horde enemies but also tenderize stronger enemies or horde enemies that got caught by its impact, making it easy for your teammates to navigate through damaged enemies.
I love the psyker builds and the weapons are just so unique BUT i thought they were melee weapons at first so i can use a gun as well but i was wrong
@alexlyster3459 yeah the staff hits do very little. It's more for a quick stun as you swap but rarely does anyone use it kek
@@RealAsianRobot Got it thank you i fugured it out and ive mastered the psyker move set i freaking love it
That helped alot thanks mate 😁👍
No worries. Just take note that as of the recent patch there may be some problems. Will test soon so keep an eye out for more info
i don't know if it still exist but i remember a perk i think it was a blessing? that allowed team mates to do weakspot dmg to a traget after a requirement was met. this would allow the surge staff charge attack to do weakspot dmg but idk if that blessing still exist or if it was a talent that reqires a bad build to get
Should not be possible without an exploit or an unknown
If you find out the blessing or the passive, let me know haha.
@@RealAsianRobot As an Auric Damnation player myself my only answer is that you must be using it wrong?
Make sure to tune into streams as well, if you missed tonight's stream, we tested out a Smite Psyker live ;)
...ok, I'll make a voidstrike to try it out. It was my least favorite. Probably with assail as it's less suited to loose packs.
Give it a shot :) I have the build on my channel already
idk if the trauma staff got buffed since this video came out, but it's actually really good. it takes much longer to charge than the surge staff, but deals the same damage to many more targets and has the best crowd control out of any of the staffs with how much it staggers literally everything. trauma staff is a roughly single target damage dealer with large aoe crowd control, whereas the surge staff is a single target damage dealer and roughly "single target" crowd controller.
I see the point of it being harder to land weakspots, but they'll thank you when you save their lives with those staggers. just describe it for what it is, so people can make their own impressions on whether it fills the role they want in their build better than the other staffs or not
I'm looking at Voidstrike and the secondary attack carapace damage is lower than the rest. Has the voidstrike staff been nerfed since your video?

Not at the moment sorry, usually news comes from partners like me :D. So if something comes out, I'll vid it
As a vet main I instantly IDed the Voidstrike as just.... kinda a plasma gun variant.

I believe they changed the staff names at some point. This vid was made based on the old staff names
Voidstrike is essentially an infinite ammo plasma gun
More or less yes

Happens to me all the time
Thank christ. You'd think devs would go bust if they were forced to include game manuals anymore these days.
All good. I'm happy to cover it, let me know if you need anything. May as well make the money in place of a manual ;)
Give me reason to pick smite!
It's a cool ability I guess? Haha. I'm testing out a build for it over thr next few days. So look forward to it.
Maybe paired with a Voidstrike staff to give you a bit of CC? ...Yeah, I'm not convinced either.
@@TheRafael78690 higher difficulties have massive issues without a perfected build, but it does work!
noice
I just tried it and it makes the game a joke lmao and top of that I had three people with the same build 😂
