- The waves pumped! We Started in Hikkaduwa and travelled South as far as Hiriketiya. Prawn curry, sunshine, elephants, lovely people and Lion Beer, Sri Lanka is epic🌻☀️😁

Sri Lanka's the place to be , me and the misses loved It over there we surfed at Weligama bay, had some people tell us the Araguam bay is the place to go for waves. We loved Hikkaduwah one of our favourite places in Sri-lanka awesome video mate

The full moon influence is negligible to nil. It is not Indonesia. If you want it pumping go near to the monsoon season turnover. Amphitheatres (Hikkaduwa) can't handle much of a crowd as you can see. When it rarely gets huge everyone will bolt around to Bennies and you will surf Amphitheatres empty, big and serious with only the real contenders. You can see where the Euros stay, further south of the peak (note this guy's beach camera angles). The Australians stay right in front.
