That was really great advice to buy a less expensive flap bag to try out the functionality of it in your lifestyle before committing to the Chanel. I have the jumbo single flap as one of my holy grail bags as well and will be on the hunt soon for a jumbo, blk, caviar leather, with gold hardware😍. It's just so classic and iconic!!
I did the same thing before I bought my Boy. I bought Rebecca Minkoff Love bag and it worked for me.
Just got mine preloved jumbo single flap gold hardware. Was going to get another new Louis but decided to take my new Louis budget and get a preloved Chanel. So glad to be entering the world of Chanel. I owned Louis flap bags so the flap aspect is fine with me.

@ Elle be thanks for discussing the cons which included the turn lock issue with the bag! I have watched tons, over 10 videos on the Chanel double flap bags and they never brought up the concern of the turn locks !
Good to know. I'm thinking to get a single flap for weight issue, so I guess only used ones to consider

I had the exact same F21 card holder and ended up giving it my brother last week once I purchased the LV card holder. They're both perfect!
I sold mine double flap because of the weight and the flap you mentioned getting in and out of the bag.
Get the YSL! It was stiff when i first got it but now i can put in cards and get cards out super easily! It has 4 card slots and a main compartment at the top that you can put more cards in or i usually fold up some cash and put it in there.

Love it. I have the same one!!! Mines lambskin and silver but there are so many days I wish I had the gold caviar because it's just gorgeous. If we were friends I would be trading all the time and yes I'm a boy who wears purses😜Check out my bag review.
I've heard a lot of people say that the ysl cardholders have quality issues 🙈 they stitches come loose very quickly and start splitting!! I think the Gucci would be better out of the two xx
got the gucci pink cardholder last month ,too stiff could only fit 2 cards had to return :(

i've been searching for a m/l single flap forever! i love chanel classic flaps but i don't think i could deal with double flaps
i believe only the jumbos and maxis were made single flap, and the minis too, it seriously is so much more convienient w/ one flap.

I love your bag I also have two so now I have the double flap and lambskin leather they’re both black I got a size small and both of them one with the silver hardware one with the gold they don’t fit too much I wish I got the medium to large but I do love them I love your bag I love all your videos only thing I don’t love and I’ll get mad because I think you’re so cute are those Two things hanging from the bag I always put a pom-pom on my Chanel bag and it was a really expensive one but then I said you know what I think it brings the class in the bag down I don’t know if that’s a stuffed animal hanging from yours girl you got to take it off I think it ruins a look at the bag I’m only suggesting
Check out Minks4All she did an amazing comparison video on the YSL card holder. I was considering getting that one. Then I came across my Chanel card holder from a boutique and it has one slot in the front and two in the back and the middle pocket opens. I guess it all depends on how many cards you keep and etc! But the Gucci marmont card holder is beautiful as well!!!

I bought a replica of a Chanel brooch for $20 to compare materials etc. The real brooch cost $800 and was made of the exact same materials - brass, synthetic pearls, glass. 🤦🏻♀ The other one is a $40 one *yutulux* Backpack Replica - also works for Compare - I can't find any difference and still use it for the gym 😅

My choice is double flap.. Chanel Jumbo.
