Trends like these break my heart. My wife and I are unable to have children and would love nothing more than to have even just 1. So sad.

  • @nikoletalappa2518

My grandma used to say :"We used to have a house with 2 rooms and 10 people in it. Now you have a house with 10 rooms and 2 people in it! So, so sad!"

I dont have any kids or a husband, but I've been taking care of my cousins son for 7 years. Finally, I'm going to court to get custody. Please play for me and the child. His name is James.🙏🏽

I’m in a DINK marriage. I was born with half a uterus, so I know God had a different plan for me. I feel at peace with that. Sometimes I worry I’ve missed out but I remind myself that He knows the plans He has for me and they are good m. He is good and so kind. I have loads of time and a strong call to work with the elderly. Even at church I love to help them and just be a support in that part of the body

I’m in my 70s and busted up my knee. All my grown kids called or came by to see if I needed anything. Glad I took the time to be a good father while they were growing up. Love when the grand kids come over.

I’m surprised this video missed the main reason people don’t have kids-all of their own childhood trauma. It’s directly related. We see broken marriages. We experience the extreme pain from brokenness, from years of generational cycles, and deep within us we reject motherhood and fatherhood. As children, we play house and hold baby dolls and desire babies until we are damaged. It is a spirit born from a deep-seated pain, though of course selfish and nourished by the culture. I myself know it well. Wanted nothing to do with motherhood before I knew Christ. Directly related to pain from my mother, and from my parents awful marriage. God restored me to have that desire again. I recognize it everywhere now.

The West has become so depressing

  • @V4nillakid

I would be driven insane in this modern era if not for Orthodoxy.

1 income, 5 kids and feel so blessed. Unfortunately lost a precious baby due to ectopic pregnancy yesterday. Praying God gives us more. I will never regret having children.

    I'm a SINK.

Expecting child #4 now, due in November. Glory to God!

  • @MetaAndrej

Former DINK here; glad I left that sad life behind. We love every moment with our little guy, the joy is something a DINK cannot understand so we must pray for them.

  • @kareyannpearl260

In this life, having children is the greatest blessing one can ever receive. ❤

Dear brothers and sisters in Christ,

  • @MatthewMcknight

A few years ago when I began my new profession, I was expecting my first child. My peer colleagues in the office one day were chatting together. Each one of them shared reasons why they were either not ready or did not want to bring children into the world. I was the solitary person to share with them the meaning and value of bringing children into the world.

  • @Oilofmercy

I agree with you. I feel sad that i became unwell and was never able to have kids. My husband left me as he wanted kid's. What a privilege and joy it is to celebrate life and have kids. . I've been alone for 20 years now still unwell with little help and no family. He sustains me. He's all in all. Glory to God.
