I used to hate people with a deep seated hatred. So much so that i fantasized about how i would hurt people that angered me. Then i found out that my sins against God greatly greatly GREATLY outweighed the sins others had against me, yet He was patient with me, merciful with me and gave me grace and time to repent because He loved me despite my many sins against Him. And likewise, He forgave me readily despite all this when I confessed my sins and repented. Also, I discovered that If I didn’t forgive others, God would not forgive me ultimately. I do not deserve Heaven, I am a wicked man, a sinner in need of Christ. I have no righteous reason to hate or judge others. God have mercy on me

Im a horrible christian, for I have so much hatred in my heart for so many people. Hatred hurts the one who feels it more than those on the receiving end of it. God help us. Lord Jesus Christ, Son of God, have mercy on me, a sinner.
Well, mankind is so cruel. Such cruelty still exists and that is what i hate. The carelessness man shows upon eachother and upon vulnerable animals when we all should know better. How to not hate sin?
Brother, do not despair, God knows you, he understands the grief you are going through. That is why he sent his Son to die in your stead. Go to god with your sin, take time to talk with him and confess. Talk with other christians and other people on practical/spiritual steps you can take on dealing with your problem. Pray to god that you may have a loving heart, conffess if possible, every small or great instance of hating. Do not despair, do not wallow, that is what Satan wants. You are not alone in this struggle. Praise be the lord, always.

Father, I'm Persian. Living in Thailand. Born and raised in a modern-age Muslim family in Iran. Came to Thailand in 2018 to sin in peace and also get rid of the ever-increasing madness of that rotten society. I've been sinning in all forms of it, an absolutely pathetic specimen of a man. Just about a year ago in 2023, I had an encounter with something that I could not and will not comprehend its nature while dying on an incident of overdose. Shook my existence. I can never reflect on it properly even if I tried for years. All I can say is that I'm so new to Christianity, furthermore, I see it as a miracle that the message in the video, has reached out to me. I wish it reaches out to everyone who is lost like I once was. Praise be the Lord. He is EVERYTHING, EVERYWHERE. In every single atom from one end of the cosmos to the other, in all dimensions. Whenever I struggle with anger or hatred against someone, I try to remind myself "Remember who the real enemy is", and move all that anger towards them instead. I can't remember where or who I heard this advice from, but it has been life-changing.
“For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers over this present darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places.” - Ephesians 6:12
My mother is responsible for the passing of my father. She gave him over to the tyrannical medical industry right before the totalitarian lockdowns and he was neglected to death. I forgive her. Only through the power and glory of God can I ever forgive authentically. This isn’t about me, it’s about the power of God.
The Lord uses everything, even the ignorance & sins of others to save us. He takes @ the best time for us but that doesn't mean others aren't culpable & therefore in need of forgiveness. We are to forgive all. In forgiving others, we are forgiven our sins by the Lord, Who is merciful & like Whom we seek, by His grace, to become.

If it's not about you, then why do you bring this up? If you forgave your mother, why are you telling the whole world about her participation in your father's death? We don't get to hear her side. Per Bible, we need two or three witnesses. If you forgave her, let it go and don't mention it to the public. And why didn't you save your father? Turns out I was wrong. And all my friends who love "diversity & tolerance" dropped me like a bag of doorknobs when i came back to the Lord. When I feel such anger/righteous anger, my Spiritual Father has "prescribed" that I light a candle in church and pray that my anger be assuaged and that one day I may learn to love all those to whom I am angered. It is difficult. Our Lord from the Cross said..."Forgive them, Father, for they know not what they do..." May the Theotokos and my Patron, St. Panteleimon, pray for me that I may love All.
We should hate the evil the wicked do, but not the wicked themselves. If we know Christ, we walk in the Spirit and God's love is shed abroad in our hearts. Jesus bless you dear brother.
I think it’s important to know that the line between hating sin but not the sinner is pretty thin. Do not think that screaming at someone across the proverbial picket line because you see them doing wrong is righteous in and of itself. Do not be so naive as to think the phrase “no hate like Christian love” formed in a vacuum. Be vigilant and gracious.

Dear brother who wrote the letter... This world definitely has become more disgusting. Just like Father Trenham said, echoing the words of Jesus, we must pray for and love our enemies. I am going through a divorce - about a year ago now my soon-to-be ex-wife moved out to be with her boyfriend. I was so full of disgust and almost hatred for them at the time. I was a wishy-washy Protestant Christian. I amped up my smoking and drinking after this episode in my life. Fast forward to January 2024. Out of the blue my cardiologist asked for a liver biopsy. Lo and behold, it came back positive for stage 4 cirrhosis of the liver. So in January I quit smoking and drinking cold turkey and lots of prayers. Since then I have been studying Orthodox Christianity with the intent to convert. Through all of this my ex and I have remained friends and I even often help them out. The Lord really has taught me a lesson in loving those the world tells you not to.
8:35 and 17:00 , these are such great points! Most people teach that verse about God sending his rain on the just and the unjust alike, as if it's referring to God's fairness and the nature of equality or justice. And that always seems a little off to me when they teach it that way. You bring it into this, the proper context, where it's talking about the fact that God is actively loving and caring for each of His children, regardless of what we think they deserve... We can't be like our Father unless we're doing the same. That's a total game changer!

Amen to your true words! We all come short of God, I catch myself a lot judging, hating and lying even sometimes. It got a lot better as I get stronger in my faith but still I struggle. Father, this is the hardest thing for me to handle. There is so much evil in this world; evil that is not content to hurt itself, but that commits all kinds of slander, deceit and harm to those seeking to avoid it. Those that demand to talk with children about their perverse sexual deviancy, to those even hurting children, trafficking children for such deeds, and looking the other way within our institutions meant to protect them the most.
"Do not hate the person. Hate the sin." You have to love that phrase. We always say "Love the sinner. Not the sin." But we should also live in hatred of the sin that pulls our brothers and sisters of mankind away from a beautiful relationship with our Messiah, the Living Savior of Mankind, Iesus Christus. We need to protect and love the vulnerable and the victims of whom are being attacked by the sinners or sin. Let us save and protect them, stop the abuse of animals and hate the sin of the torture mankind is supporting. Stop supporting the sinners and hating only the sin but we can do MORE to save and protect the victims of their sin.
I was exactly like that young man, the sentiment while unspoken for good reason is not uncommon. In fact I can say I was even worse because I not only hated, I hated unto torture and suffering. Death wouldn’t be enough, payment was demanded and no mercy existed in me. I can say with certainty that I would’ve been a shooter if I continued down that road. In some ways I technically did become one, albeit not in a way that would be obvious. The internal conflict would’ve became too much and I would’ve been drawn inexorably to oblivion. It’s only the grace of god that struck me down by showing me all the knowledge of forgiveness and mercy. I couldn’t do the explanation justice if I tried, just imagine centuries of knowledge going in and out of your mind in moments. It is my blessing and my curse. A blessing in that I was saved, a curse that proved beyond doubt I could not save myself. The point of this is to tell of what I have seen. To show that Darkness does not roam uncontested. It merely does so loudly and publicly.

When I was in the midst of converting I awoke one Sunday morning with these words ringing in my ears: "The proper place for the battle between Good and Evil is inside the heart of every human being." That day I went to the Methodist church I had been attending and one of the men there was talking about the Satanic tendencies of others. I knew I had to leave that church that morning. Over the next couple months I made my way to a Russian Orthodox Church where the battle was taking place in the proper venue. I was home, at last, and they are becoming my family.
Note in a battle that Michael had against satan, i recall, he didn't even accuse Satan. So are we really to hate the devil and his demons? I'd say we shouldn't even hate the fallen ones. Just hating the evil done in this world is enough.
Remeber in the lords prayer " forgive our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us" if we deny our enemies prayer, forgiveness, mercy, and compassion so too will we be denied the same. Because we all have to remember, as pious as we may think we are, we too are sinners and if we show hatred to others why should we expect anything but hatred from God for all the times we spit in His face with our blatant disobedience

I think it’s important to know that the line between hating sin but not the sinner is pretty thin. Do not think that screaming at someone across the proverbial picket line because you see them doing wrong is righteous in and of itself. Do not be so naive as to think the phrase “no hate like Christian love” formed in a vacuum. Be vigilant and gracious.

Dear brother who wrote the letter... This world definitely has become more disgusting. Just like Father Trenham said,
echoing the words of Jesus, we must pray for and love our enemies.
I am going through a divorce - about a year ago now my soon-to-be ex-wife moved out to be with her boyfriend. I was so full of disgust and almost hatred for them at the time. I was a wishy-washy Protestant Christian. I amped up my smoking and drinking after this episode in my life.
Fast forward to January 2024. Out of the blue my cardiologist asked for a liver biopsy. Lo and behold, it came back positive for stage 4 cirrhosis of the liver.
So in January I quit smoking and drinking cold turkey and lots of prayers. Since then I have been studying Orthodox Christianity with the intent to convert.
Through all of this my ex and I have remained friends and I even often help them out. The Lord really has taught me a lesson in loving those the world tells you not to.
I'm praying for you to be healed in the name of Jesus right now. Believing God for a miracle!❤️
8:35 and 17:00 , these are such great points! Most people teach that verse about God sending his rain on the just and the unjust alike, as if it's referring to God's fairness and the nature of equality or justice. And that always seems a little off to me when they teach it that way. You bring it into this, the proper context, where it's talking about the fact that God is actively loving and caring for each of His children, regardless of what we think they deserve... We can't be like our Father unless we're doing the same. That's a total game changer!

Amen to your true words! We all come short of God, I catch myself a lot judging, hating and lying even sometimes. It got a lot better as I get stronger in my faith but still I struggle. Father, this is the hardest thing for me to handle. There is so much evil in this world; evil that is not content to hurt itself, but that commits all kinds of slander, deceit and harm to those seeking to avoid it. Those that demand to talk with children about their perverse sexual deviancy, to those even hurting children, trafficking children for such deeds, and looking the other way within our institutions meant to protect them the most.

The temptation to not view people in Love. Amen. The real question is how do we change things. I just don't see hate doing it. It certainly never has.
"Do not hate the person. Hate the sin."
You have to love that phrase. We always say "Love the sinner. Not the sin." But we should also live in hatred of the sin that pulls our brothers and sisters of mankind away from a beautiful relationship with our Messiah, the Living Savior of Mankind, Iesus Christus. Pray for all of mankind, love all of mankind, keep fighting tooth and nail against the sins themselves. God bless you all. I love you all. Stay strong and keep fighting the good fight.
We need to protect and love the vulnerable and the victims of whom are being attacked by the sinners or sin. Let us save and protect them, stop the abuse of animals and hate the sin of the torture mankind is supporting. Stop supporting the sinners and hating only the sin but we can do MORE to save and protect the victims of their sin.
I was exactly like that young man, the sentiment while unspoken for good reason is not uncommon. In fact I can say I was even worse because I not only hated, I hated unto torture and suffering. Death wouldn’t be enough, payment was demanded and no mercy existed in me. I can say with certainty that I would’ve been a shooter if I continued down that road. In some ways I technically did become one, albeit not in a way that would be obvious. The internal conflict would’ve became too much and I would’ve been drawn inexorably to oblivion.
It’s only the grace of god that struck me down by showing me all the knowledge of forgiveness and mercy. I couldn’t do the explanation justice if I tried, just imagine centuries of knowledge going in and out of your mind in moments. It is my blessing and my curse. A blessing in that I was saved, a curse that proved beyond doubt I could not save myself.
The point of this is to tell of what I have seen. To show that Darkness does not roam uncontested. It merely does so loudly and publicly.

When I was in the midst of converting I awoke one Sunday morning with these words ringing in my ears:
"The proper place for the battle between Good and Evil is inside the heart of every human being."
That day I went to the Methodist church I had been attending and one of the men there was talking about the Satanic tendencies of others. I knew I had to leave that church that morning. Over the next couple months I made my way to a Russian Orthodox Church where the battle was taking place in the proper venue. I was home, at last, and they are becoming my family.
Note in a battle that Michael had against satan, i recall, he didn't even accuse Satan. So are we really to hate the devil and his demons?
I'd say we shouldn't even hate the fallen ones. Just hating the evil done in this world is enough.
Remeber in the lords prayer " forgive our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us" if we deny our enemies prayer, forgiveness, mercy, and compassion so too will we be denied the same. Because we all have to remember, as pious as we may think we are, we too are sinners and if we show hatred to others why should we expect anything but hatred from God for all the times we spit in His face with our blatant disobedience
