Bloom has proven itself a great tool for rebalancing a previous rough mix for which I had only a stereo rendering, but no original tracks. I was able to successfully adjust different elements of the mix and significantly improve its overall sonics character. - Very satisfying.
Great demonstration. Thanks so much!
Thanks for this
I think I will stick with TEOTE + static eq for emphasis. Thanks for the review!
Shhhhhhhh don’t give it away LOL
needed this one
I thought you disliked plugins like these (gullfoss, teote) smart balancers, what changed your mind?
Do you like it?
Will you use it ?
I've been looking at this plugin but your video was a lot more in-depth than what I saw until now. This is a lot more powerful than it's apparent. Since I'm not a fan of Gullfoss, I wonder if I'll find a good use for this bloom.
Lol dude… Gullfoss is AMAZING if used properly
@@MG-jy5qx I'm not saying it's not amazing, just saying I'm not a fan.
@@synapticschism you’re not a fan of amazing things?
@@MG-jy5qx I'm not a fan of many amazing things. Here's a good example, logical fallacies, like faulty generalization, are amazing and yet I'm not a fan of using them when making assumptions about strangers in RUclips comments.
@@synapticschism well now I’m extra curious… What makes you “not a fan” of gullfoss, this plugin that you didn’t say isn’t amazing?
What is the plugin you are using on the right side? To see the changes the plugin causes
Plugin doctor
I'm testing it on a finished mix and it still tends to add highs even where there are already a lot of them. Definitely don't use this as an automatic problem solver. You still need to use your ears. It's worth about 99 bucks. Certainly not 200usd.
Work so nice 👍
Multiband intelligent dynamic EQ😮🔥
JustSome note independence
$209?????? 🤔
$208,99😅
@Eph2.8-9 how does it make everything else obsolete?
@Eph2.8-9 I already own Gullfoss so I don’t know about paying $209 for a redundant plugin 🤷🏽♂️ Now IF they would give a discount for people who already own Soothe 2 then that would give me more incentive to buy the redundant plugin
No intro price and no loyalty discount.
Yeah. It was a pass for me. No Intro or loyalty discount.
If you do pro audio work this plugin could save you a good amount of time.
Is for this reason that Pop songs are now just over two minutes? 😂
Красная цена этому плагину - 30$. Разница трека в этом видео, в смысле с bloom on\bloom off - минимальная. Слушал на Audient 4 и наушниках 7506. Ценник завышен до неприличия.
Plugins are useful yes, but from the time that record companies started to make normalizing in waveforms of commercial songs, put the gain at 98-99 decibels, now almost 100 decibels and cutting the peaks and , when they started to add extra bass like lofi productions, they destroyed the music. It's a pity that they follow similar standards even on vinyl re-releases and remastered albums of old classics.
so whats the plugin latency and can we change that awful color?
Everyone start boycotting oaks sound plug-ins plug-in should not be no more than $100 at tops. They want $209 these greedy losers. Set a strong message to these companies. They’re not gonna take advantage of us anymore.
Its the free market buddy, i agree its very expensive but they can choose how to price it.
They worked on it for years (multiple coders, thousands of hours, testing)
At least they didn’t go the subscription route which imo is much greedier
Afaik they’re a small company theyre not like waves or native instruments
