Right! I'm just scared all these millenials will just know how to plug in a tesla battery and not know how to tork wrenches and these classics will all disappear.
Im 14 and building a 78 4 door nova going to work all summer for the miner things it needs hopefully it will be running with in the next year and a half
Hey man turned fifteen in September and got a 79 nova recently gonna be doin the same thing. Nice to see I’m not the only kid anymore doing a badass project car
i'm a 16 year old, me and my 17 year old friend are going into buy a 1970 chevy nova for my mom, she's always wanted the car. i've never been raised around them like she was but i had to hear them and get myself motivated. we've got some work to do on it but man it'll be worth it just to see my mom smile with tears
Nice work dude. I went down that same road when I was your age, slingin' wrenches gets me by in this life. Muscle cars are the purest form on 4 wheels IMO, I've been endlessly fascinated with this craft for several decades.
That's a sick video, thk u for more added inspiration to finish my build.. believe me brother I know exactly what u feel.. love yr ride sounds and looks sick!!! Props my man!!!
Your mindset near the end of the video is how millionaires and billionaires think, well done on the Nova. Have only recently started my journey on what American muscle car I want fanging Around on Australian streets! Other then my daily driver 1956 Ford F150 is a childhood dream for me and I will find one!
I'm 15 and I have a 78 Nova that I've bean working on for a year now , My dad bought it for me for my 15th birthday and Ive bean working on it sense I dropped a 350 and added a Quadrajet 4 barrel Holly and now I'm working on the brakes and the gas lines and gas tank, Can't wait to take it for a spin down back roads , Gust like my dad always told me when we go looking for cars. "Picture the car what it would look after it's finished"
Hello young fella my name is Daniel and I am from Northern Canada ........ lets chat so that hey I love the snappy exhaust as well as the muscle at the wheel
Nice car. One thing tho. After years of hot rodding, I've figured out that burnouts look cool but are murder on the driveline :) ask me how I know this.
My parents were'nt rich and I was able to save up to buy my first car which was a 1971 nova at the age of 21 by just saving up my money working two jobs. I fixed it up and sold it for 10k a couple years ago to buy my dream car which is a 1967 mustang fastback. All that 10k only bought me a rusted roller but it was still my dream car so I didn't care about how much work it needed. I am 25 now and its come a long way since I bought it. So no, I dont think you need rich parents but you definitely need dedication.
@@hypoxii556 Yes with hard work and dedication you can accomplish almost anything. With that being said, he definitely has rich parents,I have a 71 Nova I rebuilt (I'm 19) I can personally tell you that a 16-17-year-old cannot afford what he has in that car. He has a LS1 swap which can be done cheaply for about $3k (his doesn't look cheap) Also a TKO 600 which costs about $5,200 from SST (That's the one I went with and can tell that's the kit in his). Looks like he has all new suspension which even with cheap parts is at least another $1,200. Just from what I can tell, he has at least $8-10k in that car, Idk any 16-17 year old who is able to drop that much in a car. I know I couldn't, had to work almost 2 years just for my trans swap.
almost same story... im 15 as of this comment and i have a 72 nova never really looked at them but they were my dream car when i was looking for cars it felt impossible like finding a project 69 fastback it seemed so far out of reach and if i did it would be super expensive.. i went to look at a 84 trans am and i ended up leaving with a great story and a 72 nova.. great condition but no engine or trans been working on a 350 and a th400 and i've been putting countless hours into it but recently i just cant work.. camping a lot with family and schools coming up made a gofundme lol... did not help still up if anyone seeing this wants to help needs a lot.. (gf.me/u/yqcjqu) but i've never worked on cars before this but i've always wanted too i helped my brothers 81 camaro and my cousins 78 trans am. other than that nothing i can get down and get covered in my cars oil you know? im loving my car even though half of its sanded down and in pieces i can bolt on if i wanted too. ill watch your video evey now and then and that sound... gets me right back on my feet working every hour i can. glad our generation can actually get into cars like this its just a lot harder with the environment and the lack of recognition too. i have a lot more to my story messege me (anyone) to talk more about it.
daddy´s money really well spent, you will see kids spending more that he does but instead of spending it in something that is worth it, they will spend it on ugly sneakers, skinny pants and long ass t shirts.
Even if it was daddy's money WTF difference does that make? Do some research on some of the best engine builders as well a racecars and you'll see that many started with "Daddy's money" and have pasted their craft down through generations. That's America buddy. And what about the ones that started with nothing and have built empires? Damn John Forces daughters for having to suffer from his success.
That made me smile, seeing someone from that generation turning wrenches! Good job son, car is amazing!
Right! I'm just scared all these millenials will just know how to plug in a tesla battery and not know how to tork wrenches and these classics will all disappear.
I'm 16 and me and my dad restored my 1982 Datsun 280zx and now I'm building a 1975 Chevy Nova
