I dig young guys doing the old car thing, I did it when I was your age and I haven't stopped, now I'm 51 and do it for fun and relaxation. Yes working on a car is fun to me, so is driving it, racing, beating the snot out of it, breaking stuff, and fixing it again.. The more you can do yourself the less money you spend on it. Keep kicking ass young gearheads.
no cap even through these rough times and loosing motivation to work on my car, your vids and the people you interview almost always motivate me to wanna work on it.
Fixed up my nova before and through high school, one of the best decisions I’ve ever made, good to see some one else my age doin the same. Sweet build dude
My son you did a great job on the nova Keep building those cars is the younger generation today that’s going to keep it going ✌️know u be safe out there 💪
I like seeing younger people working on hot rods in the back yard . That is how I started at 13 and have now been working on cars for a living for 28 years.
He is 100% right, if you don't have the bucks but want a certain car, get one even if its rusty. You can repair rust, you can learn how to do it all. The big thing is being persistent and working on it every day even if you only do a few small things. I was doing all of this stuff, when I was 15, started my first paint job at 17, built an 11 second NA street ride when I was 24, and now at 51 I do frame off rebuilds for fun, then daily drive them so I can enjoy beating the snot out of the thing. Simply get one and start working. I didn't have a decent shop until I was 35, then I lost it at 44, now I have a better one... and I have no idea how many vehicles I own, but its over 50.
@@FourSpeedFilms Every time your vids pop up in my feed, I take the time to watch it. I like how you use perspective and the timing of each shot. You're teaching an old gearhead how to make videos.. mine suck at the moment, but I haven't gotten into doing the things you do... yet. Keep making them I will keep watching. And my old guy friends watch too.
I was 18 when I had my first Nova. Miss it so much now. Sold it when I was 20 and bought me a mustang. Wish I would've held on to it. This was 20 years ago. I'll get another one soon. Great job kiddo. Mad props to you and your family! 👍💪
That car is. Gorgeous and what you’ll find that you love about it the most is you built it the way you wanted. I built my first car which was a 71 Monte Carlo and to this car that was probably my favorite car because it was my first and I put it together the way I wanted, took me 3 years to build it. One thing you’ll find out is ain’t no car out there you’ll love more then one you put together with your family. Beautiful car man
Bravo to Ben for another fantastic film...and to the builder, Alfredo. Nice job. My first car was a 1969 Nova SS 350. Purchased 1979 day after 16th birthday. Also built it from the ground up, every nut and bolt. Sold it in 2007 to buy my house in Orlando. Recently underwent another full restoration with even better paint and all the rusty floors properly fixed. Same 355 I built almost 30 years ago. 4 speed Muncie M21, 4:10 12 bolt posi
Ben, great video, really enjoyed it. Want to say Hi to Alfredo, dude you're 22 and I'm 75. What we have in common is our 1970 Novas, you can never say that they are done, always more to do. I'm sure that your Dad is proud. Paint It Black is one of my favorite songs.
Not to undersell the quality of the car, or your production skills but the vice-grip crank did it for me! I love seeing a real car and the owner builder. Here in the South back in the day (80's/90's) Nova's never had much demand, but today everything old and stances right has more appeal. Stoked the new genz like you and Alfredo don't have the hang-ups the Xr's like we had. Keep up the vids man, very cool work.
This channel is absolutely perfect to me anyways. It has that Petrolicious vibe with the incredible video quality and it's also got an Autotopia LA vibe with unique builds. The thing that makes it special is that the builds aren't from a bunch of rich guys with endless amounts of money to use on their builds. These guys featured have vision and drive but within a realistic budget. Cinematically brilliant as well. I just wonder how it is that some channels are so incredible yet are slower to build up subscribers. But I guess that's always the 50 million dollar question. Well done, guys.
realy realy realy nice car man! I always Loved Nova"s not many people talk about them, and as I can see from this amazing vid ...you put a realy great amount of love in to it! I like that. A friend of mine had one back in 03...we worked on it for street legal racing...he moved back to Aruba all of a suddon...never heared from him again...sadly. Nice to see you put some real time and hard work in to this one man. Greatings from Me, from the Netherlands, Amsterdam! Keep it up!
Alfredo- awesome ride & you have done well beyond your years. You've also got a great head on your shoulders. You and your family kick ass. Thanks for sharing.
Bro. I love the car. I love the history and that it was built in a backyard. That's how I roll. Keep it up man! I had a 72 nova once I I sold it years ago. I cant wait to build another one. Well done!
This car, and his channel, is what is pushing me to get my nova together and enjoy it. High end builds are what I do, but they take forever. Cost so much, and when done, you are afraid to drive them. Something to be said about a crusty hot rod that just screams cool!
Well done! Something to be said for cruising around in something you built from the ground up with your own hands. Not huge into lowered cars, especially on muscle cars, but im diggin the stance!
Nova is one of my dream cars, my father has one that was stolen it was our father son project! I love how it’s a real car a daily driver the paint isn’t perfect, but I think the car is because it’s as real as it gets!!!
Me gusta mucho tu Nova tengo un 74 y lo estoy restaurando posterior subiré un vídeo, me motiva a a seguir con mi proyecto esta muy chingón saludos Alfredo desde México
I watch the video you made that had the nova in it a bunch of times glad you made a video dedicated to this guy and his car. Great video as always awesome music.
Badass Nova! Awesome vid like always and the music was great! Can’t wait for more, hopefully when I get my old muscle project I could get on one of these videos 🤞🏻🔥
Orale that’s a nice nova! This was inspiration for me I just started working on classic cars and learning all about them. I was heavy into the import scene but it’s like he said it’s different rolling in a classic versus a Honda. Either way I love them all just glad to see another blue collar backyard build 🤙🏽
Awesome! Great video, and editing. The car is perfect. A bare bones, real deal, budget built hot rod. This type of build appeals to us all slas it looks great as is, and we all see the potential it has if we were to get it. Inspires me to get my 71 nova together!
Hey alfredo, yo ese tight ass ride bro I have a 73 hatchback I'm working on right now I just painted it matte black just like yours like you said keep doing what you do

I don’t know how good it rides, but the stance on that Nova is perfect!
I love that there are other guys my age that share a love for classics! Beautiful Nova, much respect for how nice it's built!!
Hell yeah!

That stance is spot on, love the led’s too, nothing radical just different enough to make it stand out, love it!
Thanks for watching!

Those shots. You never disappoint, Ben.
Thank you!

The best thing about the people and their cars you show is everyone has a normal size house in a normal subdivision, just working class people.
I also love seeing people working on there cars on a budget. True hotrodding roots!

Right on, good to see younger folks getting into these cars, they have soul and character that ricers dont.
