- Restored American Muscle, Burnout and Blacktop. Could this be the best classic V8 powered muscle car that we have ever filmed?
Today Marcus gets behind the wheel of an American muscle classic, the Chevy Nova. This 1972 carbureted V8 model has been beautifully restored and modified with period correct performance parts, all of which come together to make one hell of an American muscle car. Trust me when I say this is one of the most unique and best sounding cars we've driven! Enjoy.

Days like these are just the best.. driving through the country with a big V8 and not a worry in the world 😀 Follow Jeff on Instagram @jeffersonc1990 as well as @roadsuntraveled. Lookout for his 240sx later this week!
Love driving that car. Can cruise all day with a smile on your face. Always make me laugh when you throw it in the low gears the fasten seat belt light comes on. The 240 is just an adrenaline rush
Roads Untraveled What’s the name of the music playing in the beginning the link in the description is not working
The IG name you posted isnt working for me. Maybe a typo?
72 was a low compression year.
That old V8 idle.... Just sounds like it's suffocating. Such aggressive profile.
that sound will never get old.
I love it
The lope to it is pretty sweet
Hot for Teacher!
Built to run- not to idle.
LOVE IT !!! I had a 1973 nova ss...Cant believe im still alive. 373 rear and the first weekend i owned the car i burned off both back tires !!! Such fun / fond memories !!! Yes i put the headers and the accel coil and dual point dist. Traction bars ect. I never got rid of the Quadrajet 4 barrel...I just loved the sound!!! Them vacuumed 2nd daries ...Wooo -Wooooooo!!! You know what i mean !!! LOVE it . Thanks for sharing !!!
White rock is probably the best place to catch classic cars on a sunny day
It really is...
Roads Untraveled Looking forward to this weekend and the 700+ classic, custom and rods coming to Penticton! Mega eye candy!
Wow I can't believe you reviewed my favorite car in the world! And it's the same year I want to get because my dad was born in 1972 and had a nova when I was younger. I even named my daughter Nova
I meet a chick once and she named her daughter novalene
If you love 72 Nova's check this out: ruclips.net/video/vjO4HoHKPUU/видео.html
2:50 god damn that sweet V8 idle!
Not an import? Thats different for this channel. Nice change
Yes! Trying to change it up :D That being said, we did release videos with a McLaren 675LT, E36 M3, and a Fiat 500 recently, none of which are Japanese!
Aren't those technically imported?
Yes yes they are haha but generally not what people mean when they say imports
That is why people usually refer them as JDMs.
@@RoadsUntraveled hello, i was wondering if you knew what tire size the nova was rocking? thank you for the awesome video. I have a 70 Chey nova.
more muscle please!! love your other vids too but it's just something about American muscle
Got a couple old school muscle projects on our channel if you're interested :)
@@DecadesCars jh
Had a 71 rally nova gold blk strips luv it. GREENVILLE AL.
Good for the soul.
Out cruising in a classic Nova then a damn Cuda rolls past in the other direction, you just know they done the appreciative head nod to each other lol
Absolutely love this Rally Nova. Had a '69 Nova SS350 4 spd 4;10 posi, for almost 30 years. Truly regret selling it. Was a terror on the streets of Cleveland, back in the day.JTOrlando, Fl
“If you could change anything what would you change?”
“Ummmm…well it’s gonna need tires soon”
CLASSIC❤
A Nova is the perfect car. That sound is awesome .
one thing i have always loved about the old v8s is the idle, its so good
Awesome to see someone actually play with their muscle car. A good representation of the fun factor and tire destroying capabilities of a 3.73 400 hp car.
Hoping to put 3.73s in my 72 cutlass supreme eventually
Growing up my best friends brother had a 72 nova and til this day still the baddest car I been in.383 about 650 hp 250 shot of nos if it needed it but it never did.4:56 gears it was just a wicked car He still has that car as well.
Awesome video once again, loving the amount of different cars lately. Best car channel imo, keep it up!
honestly one of the coolest novas out right now
love this video !! the chevy nova 1969-1971 is my favorite musle car. thanks from spain
As a former Nova owner, things to change add a big block. Yeah I don't care if a BB wasn't an option in 72'. If I ever got another muscle car it would have a modern manual and a big block.
Sounds and looks really nice.
That's what mine has
Awesome video! Even the background music suited it perfectly.
That was cool you passed a Cuda too.
8:08 was awesome in this video... Most days I think classic cars are too expensive, but sometimes I really wish I had one.... A V8 and bad ass looks to suit....
Love the seeing some Muscle on this channel Marcus! We both drive classic muscle cars and live in Vancouver, so if you ever want another to review give us a shout! Got some footage of them on our channel :)
Just checked out your channel, awesome stuff you guys are like the American Muscle Lowcals XD
Love the Chevy novas
Love it! Great work guys!
favorite car on Driver - PlayStation game
Awesome review!!! Nice angle's from all view points. Beautiful ride!
Brings back memories of my 71 beater Nova with a 350 and an old Muncie 4 speed
Always love me some classic muscle 😍
It sounds incredible! ⚡️⚡️
Raised the volume and closed my eyes so I could remember my first car..... I miss her so much.... wish I never sold 15 years ago...
i loved the intro, with the rumble of the bald eagls rolling in and the roads untraveled logo. it got me pumped/excited lol 👍
Guys, I'm so stoked that you reviewed my ALL TIME FAVORITE car! The Chevy Nova,
From 68-72 is my Dream Machine! I had one, a 1971, with the 307ci small block and the Turbo 350 tranny was my best car owned, when I was 17 years old. I rebuilt the TH350 tranny, installed a B&M Shift kit and was in heaven for a moment til I wrapped it around a tree, test driving it. I'll one day get another one, but NOT wreck it! Hahaha great review and please add more American Muscle to your channel!
Again, Great Job!
Wow, that's a really clean Nova!
Such a great video. That awesome Nova and also a Cuda in it ;) Thanks alot for your work and sharing. Greetings from Germany.
Wonderful. More Classic Muscle please.
That is a pretty car.
Burnouts make me smile.
Gets me all excited to have my 74 done.
Engine sounds incredible !
There ya go im proud of you for doing this video kid merica!
This was a great video keep up the good work.
Love this Nova!
Good looking and good running Nova !
Beautiful car and I love that little awesome deer.Take care of it!
Really fun video guys, I can relate ;)
Great car! You were right about those being the last of Detroit's great cars. I had a '72 Skylark convertible and the quality of the car along with the styling was tough to beat.
jeff is the epitome of an amazing person.
Lovely car!!
Ahh I love the nova so much.
What a beauty !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Perfect Nova 👍
Nice work!!
Unexpected but neat, Nice to see something different, love it :D
Finally some American muscle!
Awesome video and car.Like the style of interviewing the owner. Come to Ohio, i have 4 of these Novas.
Fire!
good change from the import JDM fresh off the boat cars
Great video!
🏁🏁Yea that Nova clean.
My dream muscle car!
Good stuff!
Sometimes I feel like I'm the only rally Nova owner left so it is super nice to see one.
That thing lays rubber easily 👌🏾
Love this car
65 in January had 69 Nova SS That car was a Beast I have a 2000 WS6 the Nova would have tore it's ass up thru the quarter 350 headers Holley 780 double pumper what torque!
5:48 Cudaa
good spot
Sweet Nova. I’m hoping mine turns out to be this nice.
I can’t believe my eyes!! My dad had the exact same colour exterior 350 rally sport with white interior from Ontario Canada!!! He was the first owner right from the dealer showroom floor. I’ve been trying to find it for years. I have never seen another one with this colour combination EVER. The only difference is the rims. Wish I had it now!
Love cruising white rock strip on a nice day in a sweet ride.
Nice Ride :)
nova are awesome i had one
Love them novas
wicked car my dad had a 4 door when I was a kid I loved it but some jerk backed into it and ripped off the door so my dad went to the junkyard and got another so we drove around with a yellow door on a red car for a while lol but u should review more classic American cars ied love that
Great Taste Beautiful car.
Nice Nova, There’s Nothing Like Old School Chevy.....
The sound of a 4 barrel opening up is unmistakable
how well does that rear respond? if you nailed it from 60 mph? does it cruise at low rpm?
More American Muscle!!!
that was so nice to see, my dad has a chevelle about 6 years ago it had a solid lifter cam set up with a lot of duration n ~520 lift. sounded just like that at idle . the saginaw 4 speed turned into a 2 speed one night haha so it got a tko500 5 speed ,after that a cam lobe burnt up n rounded out so its a hydraulic cam set up little less duration about the same lift. with aluminum heads 2:02intk 1:60exh holley 670 dp , 410 rear . its a fun car . hope you show case more classics
Nice car ! If you ever come back to Ontario I wanna see it.
My favorite muscle car period 70-72 X-Body, I had a 72 Pontiac Ventura II
Dream car
My pop had one. Awesome car. Sad he got rid of it. Great memories for me
Now THAT'S nice car!!! Heaps better than all the imports you usually showcase. This was a MAN'S car, not a boy racer's car. And cars like these are beautiful in a way modern cars are not anymore
trust me . The car puts a big smile on your face the whole time driving it
more like this !
Nice ride! Im currently working on one myself. Im open to any input or advise!
nice vid! owner knows his shit well too!
hey man i watch all your posts and im a huge fan! but i gotta say i miss the owner interviews where theyre standing infront of their ride then you driving it. ride along too smoking tire!
Liked!
What kind of exhaust is on this nova ? I’m building a 72 nova now. Trying to pick out the exhaust is a pain. But this nova sounds great.
Terrific looking and sounding!! What did you use for a exhaust system? X pipe? Dia? Mufflers? It all sounds great!!
Is it just me that thinks leaf suspension looks sooooo good at muscle cars?
nice car 300 h.p 350 orig. cool car
Beautiful Nova. Needs a little more rubber on the back, some L60-15's would fit the bill.
Still to this day, even after 27 years. I am still sad my dad didn't pass down his 72 Chevy Nova to me. Instead, he gave it to his brother-in-law for free. My dad ended up buying a 92 Cutlass Sierra... smh...
American Muscle to me is
Fits a Family of 4
Rear Wheel Drive
And a v8 for torque and horsepower!
2 speed power glide trans was in the old 1968 inline 6cyl that months later had a 400 small block outta a 72 caprice classic 2dr that was totaled but that 400 engine was a beast with the 2 speed power glide trans..what a transmission advance vacuum was a pain but we got it working right the the rest WAZ HANG ON FOOL...
Love these. Well done. I would put some really sticky tires on her & then drive the wheels off her:) Thanks.
What cam are you running, Sounds great. ?
American muscle is first in my book. Then 90s imports!
What camshaft you running? Any info on engine? Is it stock?
what is the music name? website doesnt work :/
