What is wrong with wanting to live in the US? There are better job opportunities there.
How is an American wanting to live in the Philippines any better than a Filipino wanting to live in the US?
Green card is just a piece of paper that allows you to live in the US (and to work) - it is not a platinum credit card.
Americans with their attitude towards job seekers in their country is sickening. I never saw a single American marrying a Japanese to get a residence permit being judged the way Americans judge others

Most times , the couple lives in the country where the conditions are better...
I dont get people jumping to " green card chaser " right away, as soon as someone wants to go to america ..

It's probably, because when it's really about love, then it's not that important where you live, just the fact you are together. And mostly, at the beginning of the relationship when you first meet each other, It should be more of focus If we are compatible, not beeing disapponted, about someone else not giving you the opportunity to come to some particular country.
And for Americans there is a lot at stake financially, like they are financially responsible for that person for life, as long as they are in the US and of they don't get any job. (Maybe even if they work illegally - no idea).
Like I would be also pissed, but to feel used, no matter, if someone where using me to stay in Philippines or US. Faith can also feel used -like he literally told her, because your country is cheaper and I have no place to live, I am with you here and want to stay.

Confused - Loren works two jobs, and lives with his ex and sleeps around. He has no rent to pay in the US, so where has all his money gone? He has arrived in the Phillipines penniless. He will not be allowed to work in the Phill until he gets a work permit. So how does he plan to support himself there? I think he is just looking for a rich ladyboy to support him, and is using Faith in the interim.
