Thats not sadness or pain. She is not showing any emotions because her face is neutral, its relaxed, no muscle retractions until she talks about her daughter. She is extremely heavily medicated for depression and I dont judge her. I know exactly how she feels. I hope she stop using the meds before she gets addicted to it and cant live witout it because it wont cure the depression, never will. It will only cause problems later in life, family and partner life. Its great that she talk about her rough experiences, thats a huge step to move on. I have always rooted for her, she is an amazing actress, so beautiful and very unique in Hollywood. We need more people like Hayden.

I know people are disturbed by this interview but this is the reality of loss and grief and attempting to navigate a new life without your loved one in it. It’s hard. I’ve been going thru the same thing the past 5 years. I lost my sister on September 29, 2019 and it hasn’t gotten any easier. I still cry at the very mention of her name. But I know the one thing she’d want me to do is pull thru. And I’m trying my best. This seems like Hayden just took a bit more of a relaxer than she should have. But she’s 100% coherent and articulate. She’s not stumbling over her words or stuttering like an inebriated person would. She was most likely nervous to do the interview and took a bit more of a relaxer than necessary, like I said. She looks fine in the photos with her trainer, etc. My heart goes out to her. She was so very brave to do this. Pull thru, girl.

I agree. Considering everything she’s been through I think she looks fantastic. She is not the young woman we knew over 10 years ago. Love, heart ache, loss, divorce, death, pregnancy, separation, addiction, alcohol, and about a hundred things we’ll never know about.
She is clear, and articulate and I think she’s doing great. I support her and we all should.

Mind your own business!!! There is a law called HIPPA and you may just want to shut up and say nothing if you've got nothing of kindness or caring to contribute!!! Just because you're a junkie don't go around eager to "diagnose" everyone else with that. Sleep deprivation could also explain things along with her shock & emotional blow. My dissertation was on sleep disorder and as it turns out after I read a bit, this lady does struggle with sleep problems. It's really not our business and the interview should be appreciated for the candid, very heart breaking and honest piece that it is!!! Somehow all the druggie's and their innuendo could never respect a person who lost a loved one and see anything as a "sign" of substances/abuse. Sick of hearing about all the focus on it. It's her business and people should just appreciate her honesty in opening up her heart and sharing in her experiences. I took away a lot of positives from seeing this. @@beepbopboop7727You obviously haven't experienced psychological emotional shock, trauma such as a close death because it can do a lot of things to us we aren't in control of. Her whining mumble and groveling was exactly how I sounded and sometimes still do. And I have never done drugs ever and have no interest. But she's sleep deprived in the interview, that can explain things too. That was what my dissertation was about. These aren't educated people because if they were they wouldn't be publicly "diagnosing" her and secondly they wouldn't be judging, third they would know these behaviors can be explained through natural circumstances. Too many drug addicts eager and obsessed in attacking her and too drug minded to realize there are actually other explanations and stop jumping to their own conclusion. Unless they are a doctor they should mind their own business and respect this lady. It's simply not nice and insensitive not to mention sickening!!!

No one is pretending to be a doctor, she’s an ADMITTED drug addict and alcoholic who has used for decades and given many excuses for it throughout the years… because that’s what addicts do. These excuses are just more in decades worth of excuses she’s given.
I know you don’t have experience in addiction, but enabling her behavior, like helping her justify her behavior, even if just online (because she’s admitted to reading comments online), is far more damaging to her than people calling her out on her actions.
Within your same comment, you condemn people for “judging her”, and also judge people yourself. That’s hypocritical.
Lastly, it’s BECAUSE of people calling her out, that her family recently forced her back into rehab, where she can actually get help for her addictions.

One year is not very long babe. I lost my brother to heroine and it took me 6 years to fully grieve him. The first year is shock. Second year is accepting your new reality. The rest is slowly relearning how to live without them.
Everyone grieves at their own pace. You just have to make sure you're feeling it when you're ready to. Don't get addicted to drugs. Your dreams will be your way of seeing him and the drugs can put those dreams on pause.
Unfortunately the silver lining is that being high in this video is what will bring more people to see it and many people need to know that they are not alone. This is the reality of grief.

It’s really hard to know that so many people don’t have her best interest- from the doctor who is overprescribing whatever she is on, her team that is allowing her to talk about her trauma when she’s not sober, the people who tell her that she’s healed/she’s doing better, it’s so sad.

Now I know from her interviews the people around her gave her “happy pills” starting at 16 before red carpets. She described it as what can be considered like an Adderall pill that was not prescribed but from a doctor in Mexico. Now look at her. She said she’d never let her worst enemy be a child actor. Growing up watching all the women I grew up with come out looking so broken and struggling is really heartbreaking.

But, she is definitely on some type of benzo or downer. She’s trying very hard to keep her eyes open & not nod off. The way she has her hands on the chair. She’s trying her best not to slur her words and pronounce them in a way that isn’t obvious she’s on something. But I don’t judge at all. I couldn’t process losing my brother and ended up going down a dark path with Xanax and other stuff. Thank God and God only that I was able to dig myself out of that depressive hole. I don't see anything of what you're describing with Hayden in this video. People can be emotional, touch the arms of chairs, without being high on meds. All the drug innuendo says more about you than it does her. That seems to be a focus for you to the extent you are eager to diagnose others in anything of behaviors. She has sleep disorder which I do too. That can have a devastating effect on how people are. Their moods, emotions, functioning, physical well being, psyche, etc. People take grief in all different ways and this could be all harming her ability to communicate to your liking but I think she sounds typical of a devastated individual who's in pure shock and loss does a number on us!!! I don't think it's our business nor useful to focus on drugs rather than her message. Perhaps you need the help but HIPPA exists for a reason and it's not for us to speculate. Appreciate the interview for what it is! A brave lady exposing herself and being vulnerable to an audience she trusts and clearly thinks highly of us enough to open up!!! ❤️

I am praying she didn’t relapse and whatever caused her slurred speech is simply anxiety medication that probably isn’t working.
However I met Hayden when I was 15 and she was 18 through a family friend. She was so nice to me and I absolutely despise when everyone would trash the hell out of her and say mean things. It’s unfair because they don’t know the pressures she had since she was a child becoming an actress. I always will be grateful for my interaction with her, because looking back, people don’t understand what she went through all her life. This is long before the birth of her daughter. Grief stays with you, you kind of experience very low lows.. and even in the happiest of moments, your happiness is kind of capped - you never really feel joy the same way. I hope anyone experiencing a loss, whether you’re on day 1 or 10 years later - know that God is with you, one day you will be reunited with your loved one, the person is kept alive through your memories of them- always talk about them. to pray for them, do something charitable in their name and do things that honours the memory of them. ❤

It’s sad that grief is the dirty little secret that nobody talks openly about…It’s not necessarily true that Hayden is medicated…grief just changes how you move, how you act. I lost my son on July 28th, 2021…he was only 27, and died of a sudden illness. I will NEVER move the same, be the same, feel the same…Hayden suffered a catastrophic loss…please show her some grace.

Just about anything could be a “trauma response”, particularly to addicts who are always looking for excuses and justifications for their substance abuse… of which Hayden is a pro at this point.
Her poor daughter, being taught that drugs and alcohol are more important to her mother than she is & that substance abuse is an acceptable way to deal with one’s problems. Hopefully her father is a better role model for her than Hayden is, otherwise her daughter will end up the same way Hayden is teaching her to be.
To lose custody of your child because of your addictions and erratic behavior, and for that not to be a good enough reason to get clean, is despicable.

I remember her brother. He was so adorable! I remember a movie he was in as a pre-pubescent where the theme of the movie was a groundhog day scenario.
I am so sorry for Hayden's loss of her beloved brother. She seems like such a loving and caring sister. Rest in peace, young Mr. Pannetiere.

It’s just probably anxiety and depression medicine that will do it to you with how slow she is talking they give you that after a love one has passed close to you and you become to scared to do anything or be around anyone and she just seems like she needs something for her state of mind with the loss of him but they should of waited to interview her. Her manager and people should of have gave her some time off until she feels better but then again she did have a problem a few years ago with drinking so she could of had something to drink because it’s hard talking about her brother and what she went through with her daughter and husband. It’s a lot she has to heal and grief and cope. I love her she such a beautiful woman and very talented I hate to see someone like this that deserve so much love and happiness
