Hey Pete! I know you are into your 70's music but if you fancy a bit of 80s, I listen to an Internet station called The Big 80s Station. They are based in New York and there are no DJs, no ads, no news or weather. Just music with random clips from films and TV shows between the songs that are quite hard to recognise sometimes, you'd probably get them all I reckon!
Good luck with the abandoned Cortina, sounds interesting. I remember the 8 tracks, my mate used to play a Carpenters tape endlessly, wore it out in the end lol.
Well done nice varied content variety is the spice of life as the saying goes. You must have one of the biggest eight track players collections around, aside from your self are any people that collect them?.
I’m sure there was a movie (true story) “Brassed off” with Ewan McGregor about Grimethorpe Colliery Band , also the beauty Tara Fitzgerald was the leading lady.. brilliant film 😊
I like the York JCB 863/Rotel 240 in the background Pete. I have a Harrier CBX myself. All the same rig basically. I just spotted an 80 channel (fm and mid band) CBX on ebay. Gearboxes are a foriegn language to me, or where until I had to split a Mk1 Fiesta box. Auto boxes just have me doing a 'Monty Python and the Holy Grail', "Run Awayyyyy run awayyyyyy! 😮 edit: I hope you have that screwdriver SWR'd in correctly. The white noise reminds me of a day me and my mate went to Rhyl for a day out. The CB was booming around Liverpool in the mid 80's, Rhyl on the other hand was a dead as a Dodo! All 40 fm channels were just shhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!
how many 8 track radios hahahaha i need a automatic transmition oil cooler and pipes do you know what kind i need for the 2.3 v6 or can i use a after market one at all
I have a place that makes up pipes as long as you know the fitments. I used wire rod to shape and get a measure of length etc. TRAX HYDRAULICS BURSCOUGH.
I still have a cb . sadly not many people on it these days.think more on side band or ham radios. Mainly people on cb are on 19.lot of foul language and abuse.there is the odd decent one comes on.
