My Mum used to make something similar. My Grandma used to make these in a Lemon sauce. Both sadly no longer with us. It's been a long time since I think it's time try this out for myself.
Awesome!!! Thanks for sharing John.... 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼
I usually make something like this for stuffed bell peppers, but with cooked left over rice and caramelized onion and garlic. Putting raw onion and uncooked rice in the meatball mix and letting it simmer so that the meat and onion cook while the rice absorbs the flavors is pretty intriguing. Going to try this method for sure.
Thanks Don!!! 🙏🏼🙏🏼👍
I just made this recipe today and cannot wait for dinner. My apartment smells heavenly. I used ground turkey instead of beef so I am hoping it will be as delicious as yours.
As always stay safe and healthy Ken!
Awesome!!! Great to hear Cherie!!! Thank you.... 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼
Ken they are yummy but they fell apart - what did I do wrong?
Oh no.... either you had a bit too much ground beef and needed another egg to bind it or maybe it could’ve just been over cooked a bit. Sorry it turned out like that....
before my mom died on may 4th 2020, she was teaching me her secret Greek cooking. We used to watch all your videos and make some great food. Can you recommend a marinade for a boneless leg of lamb? It was her favorite! Dad wants to cook it on the grill for Easter! any help would be great!
Ken im half greek and german! I love my greek side better =)
Thanks for sharing a really great story Eric. Now you’re left with beautiful memories. Check out my green roasted leg of lamb recipe @ ruclips.net/video/tosQeG9FYVM/видео.html

In the Russian cuisine these meatballs are called тефтели (tefteli) ---the recipe came to Russia from the Swedes, and usually containes rice and is cooked in a sauce. Of course meatballs exist in every cuisine that containes meat.
