I think Ballmer needs to shake up management. So far their decisions/gamble did not payoff and now they have no flexibility in terms of draft picks and players in the roster that have value in a trade.
I really see smart GM’s drafting and building young players and now you see that with the teams in the playoffs. I honestly think the Lakers have a great scouting team over the last decade.

Both L.A. teams are currently suffering the consequences of pursuing a "win now" strategy without the know-how to do it effectively.
It got the Lakers a bubble chip - but not any respect from anyone outside of Bron stans and some casuals.

The weirdest one was the last postseason.
      That was so bizarre.
At least this postseason there was some lead in as Kawhi was sitting towards the end of the regular season but man to play so great in games one and two and then to find out he will be out for the rest of the postseason with a major injury, yet during the playoff games there was no sign of him going down on the court.
Since i'm not a Clippers fan per se i don't know all the details regarding the 2020/2021 postseason when he went down right before the WCF......but i was following last postseason because Russ was on your squad.
I was really rooting for Kawhi and Russ to get past The Suns so PG could return....
Must be super frustrating for Clippers fans because even with CP3, Blake, and DeAndre there always seemed to be an injury issue preventing The Clippers from getting to the conference finals or finals.
I'm just curious if Kawhi is even still that level of player when healthy, that can carry a team through the postseason and be the best player?
      2018/2019 is a while.....
      Nearly six seasons!

The whole organization needs to be gone through. I honestly want a new GM. We keep trading everything for old players rather than bringing in youth. If I was GM I’d clean house. Only a few players would stay, zu mann bones etc but everyone else I’d move. Kawhi would be traded sign and trade PG and harden. Try to move tucker if possible without adding a pick. My goal would be to create cap space for next offseason which has a lot of talent add as many draft picks as possible, bring on a ton of seconds idc and the biggest move would be adding young upcoming players. Clippers are rumored for CP3 why?! This front office is a joke currently and I’m over this if they are healthy mantra. They’ve been healthy one year in the playoffs one! Trade everyone

Clippers been one of the best 3 point shooting teams in the league . But that’s also a problem . Cause we ain’t taking a lot of drives and mid range. Just kawhi . And also rebounds is kinda trash because they sitting out the 3 point line and don’t have athletic size. If we get lebron for harden, and Brandon Ingram for PG it’s better size in the paint but they also are shooter and better defense it’s championship I’m calling rn.

The psychological burden of having “stars” in the new arena has completely destroyed Ballmer’s mind in the whole team setup over the past 4 years. As matters stand, the team is like a 2019 all star team reunion party competing in 2024: a bunch of selfish FORMER all stars that can only produce occasional good runs in a regular season, while having nothing left in the postseason because of injuries or aging fatigue.
Unless Ballmer is honest with himself that a champion contender has to be built step by step without taking shortcuts by leveraging all your future, he will always leave himself with a clownshow team like the one he’s having right now

We played great at certain points of this season like that winning streak we had in late December, but you don’t really win championships with 4+ game losing streaks in the regular season. The best part of this season was an extra year of development and experience for Amir Coffey, zubac and Mann. We need more athleticism and youth in the starting 5. PG, Tucker, Plumlee, Russ, Theis gotta go. I rather keep Bones then Harden

BI have good speed and size and can playmake ballhandler . So with BI we also don’t need harden. Go for Lebron instead of harden. So BI and Lebron can playmake, kawhi can still be offball like with harden, but with more movement and dynamic Lebron BI and kawhi man that’s super elite better than harden, PG and Kawhi on both ends.
