No idea why this was recommend to me, but im glad it was. My current cats also used to play with these but I stopped giving it to them as they can eat the cotton and when in the stomach, the small threads of cotton are really sharp and can cut something inside . Never had problems , but just in case . Now they chase a plastic ball with a bell inside XD.
Beautiful cat dude . The parting part is always the hardest. After mine passed away at 17, I waited like 3 years before getting a new one .I dont even remember what I was doing during those 3 years . But the wait was worth it .
    Cheers 👍

So glad you enjoyed it! It’s definitely a testament to our/their love when they live so long, but certainly bittersweet. Loki passed in February a month shy of 20 years old. Despite being skinny/fit his whole life, he became diabetic at 17 so it was 3 years of insulin injections. He even tolerated those like a champ. I wasn’t planning on another cat for a while (he is irreplaceable to be sure), but as happenstance had it, I literally ran into a mama cat and her newborn kitten at a gas station while on a trip to SC in April. I spoke with the employees at the gas station and lo and behold the mama cat has been coming around and was homeless. They were shocked when I told them she was with kitten. So we put them in a cardboard box (not as easy as one might think!) and took them to to the vet and the rest is history! But God, I miss Loki every single day. It’s almost not fair to another cat because as much as I love them, no one is Loki. One of the rare unicorn cats who looked at you with love. There is no doubt in my mind that he has a soul. A beautiful one.
Wishing you all the best and with all your furry loved ones too!

@@cabikat So glad you found someone new .I was like that also . Mine passed away at 17 (some heavy form of arthritis and the kidneys meds stopped working also) . Really hard times .When I got the new cats(they were twins from the street also haha) now when they are at the age of 5, I still remember the old cat, but I stopped(as you say) to put him first . Now is the same love for all of them and all of them are equally special .
My old cat also got diabetes so I know what you went trough 👍 . Using the gluco meter to see how is the blood shugar levels (i used to take it from the tip of the ear as it was the less painful spot) . He got diabetes when at 15 I believe one summer I gave him a bath (and didnt dried him good because it was like 40 C out there). So bad decision as he was on the window , got a cold and that way unlocked the diabetes achievement . Weird, but true story .
Si I monitored him constantly, and used animal insulin and human one(in very low doses, from memory it was like 0.1 or 0.2 ml of human insulin, cant remember exactly but a very very low dose ) as my brother has diabetes since little . The vet told me something interesting that not many people know .
Diabetes in cats is , there is a 50/50% chance that a cat can cure its diabetes by it self . Its how their organs works . After 10-12 days on insulin (that I gradually lowered because he was getting better) , we were very fortunate to see this happen in front of our eyes . At the age of 15 he cured (thanks to God) his diabetes .
If this happens to someone else, do not despair. You pray and believe , you monitor constantly like 4-5 times a day his blood sugar not going too high and regulate the insulin dosage .(obviously food too) . Not sure if the human insulin took some part in helping . Since its soo concentrated we used little and probably 2-3 times at best .
