- In this Logic Pro Tips video, Jono Buchanan shows you how to use Logic's note repeating effects. You'll learn how to use Note Repeat and Note Repeater - two useful MIDI tools that enable you to effortlessly trigger MIDI notes in succession. Jono shows you how you can use Note Repeat to lay down rhythmic patterns, such as hi-hats, and use modulation to switch up the groove. You'll also learn how to use the Note Repeater effect to elevate a performance with transposed notes that automatically change in velocity.

Really cool use of the midi Note Repeater effect. Never thought of it. Thanks as usual and I still cant believe these videos don't have more views
what is the small white external controller you're using around 2:52 timemark? when you are recoding can this white gadget change values live (like in touch mode)?
Una Corda is the GOAT
love the vids as always, but personally i don't really use midi much so for me personally something along the lines of eq compression, or any mix/record tips of 'real' audio, like guitar bass drums and vocals would be nice to see. Just my opinion :)
🔥🔥💥🙏💚
Mr. MT, this is a little off the subject. But I have an all-gray area where my Loops Menu was at. How can I have them back in the browser area, in the right side of Logic pro X again? thank you in advance.
how do you get the note repeat set back to as played? the default setting?
i cant change the tempo of the high hats on the keyboard it just octavte the tone of the high hat
What is the midi device you are using for modulation?
Most interesting, never heard about that. Very concretely explained! You’re a real expert with/in Logic. What‘s the make of this little input controller? 👍🏻👏🏻💪🏻
It is a Pallete Gear. They are no longer available. They company is now called Monogram. The Traveller Console is the replacemnt of the product that he is using. monogramcc.com/shop/products/traveler-console/
