No they didn't, come on now.
1. Frieza is the most popular villain, especially in Japan.
So ofcourse they are gonna show him in the intro of a fighting game.
2. Gohan was getting jobbed way before DBS, watch GT or any other of the countless dbz movies.
3. Broly vs Gogeta was called upon for a number of years, by the fans.
So it wasn't a prediction, but infact fan service by Akira Toriyama.
Hell Broly himself is the exact same.
and so if we refer to the trailer, after that SSJ4 will soon be a real thing in DBS...

Man I just can express the chills I have at 1:02. All the complex relationship between two of the greatest heroes ever is in those looks. They’re both in difficulty and they understand what’s the only chance left, and in this context we can see the excitement Goku has to have such a great challenge and opportunity to fight in such a level, and in the other side Vegeta hurt in his pride to be forced to use this but yet accepting it because he has so much to loose now ( family and friends. )

and how is Goku a hero in any way?As we saw in TOP,he ignored all Beerus' warnings,and went straight to Zenoh.Okay,he has an excuse,he didnt know,he was a moron,Zenoh would destroy universes anyways,but in his fight with that fox dude,he could have faked that he held back,and loose to him,since Zenoh said if that happened,no universes would be even in danger of being erased.He is just selfish, obnoxious moron that is a no good father,and even worse husband.Only reason Dragon Ball is interesting, its not because Goku, its because other, supporting characters.And entire Majin Buu thing would be WAY better if Gohan was the main character.I might get some fan boys triggered, but i dont give a shit, this is just my opinion, deal with it.

+ The snow phase,Hell,space + saiyan planet,World of the Dead Tournament,Lord Kaio's planet,The Lake Forest Stage And finally Kamisama Temple 😢🤧 Who also misses this game and would be much better with all this in the game if it had? But surely this game remains the best of all together with infinity World like and bye!

The ps2 was my first playstation and this game was my first game I ever bought. I remember being so excited seeing this intro as a kid. Right now I'm feeling some kinda way watching it again after all these years. I love this so so much❣

it's cgi that's why. there are quite a few cgi parts in the super movie and series but the traditional hand drawn is more appreciated

I'll never forget the battle Marathon I had with my friend in this game! It was my 18 vs his Kid Trunks. We fought in the hyperbolic time chamber (the theme in that stage is amazing.) We fought over a hundred matches!! Good times!
I'll never forget the time me and my little brother fought each other in this game one weekend when we were hanging out. We fought each other in it for what seemed like a few hours. And I remember beating him SO badly with quite a few different characters and in a lot of different stages in it,that he didn't really want to play this game with me anymore after that. It was actually kind of a mean for me to do,BUT it is still a pretty fond memory that I have. Of me simply sitting down,hanging out with and playing a game with my little bro and having an absolute blast with him. That being something that I will likely not get another chance to ever do with him again though sadly.
