Deadass liked the older games intros better, but the new games' gameplays were better (minus the in-fight fusions). Honestly, the only new DBZ games that are here are Xenoverse 2 and FighterZ. Xenoverse 2 is one of my favorite games I've played, but they need to move on to xeno3 already. FighterZ is a great game and all but I personally dislike how long it takes to get used to the mechanics, and try to come back to the game after awhile. It's so difficult to get back into in my opinion.
The community in South America is so devoted to the Latin dub that they modded the entirety of "Tenkaichi Budokai 3", from the intro to the main menus including the entire moveset voices and story mode. Believe when I tell you that 101% of the game was reworked by fans. What a wonderful community.
I remember getting "Budokai Tenkaichi 4" when i went to a convention, which was basically BT3 but with the movies added in story mode, along with cinematics and a few Super characters. I didn't expect much out of it but was really surprised to see that it was all done in spanish, so much that i played the entire story mode, and i kinda felt like a kid again since i first watched the entire series in spanish when i was a kid (For obvious reasons). It sucked not being able to use some of my favorite characters who were reskinned and had their movesets changed, but even then it was a good game.

To keep the illusion alive, my parents and him thought up that "Santa's elfs played a little bit" since when I started, the story mode was already started. Blew my kid-self's mind. Good memories. Not really, the opening did not age well at all and it looks absolutely hideous, they tried to make it realistic instead of staying true to the original artstyle. Raging Blast 2 nailed it though with the CGI

I remember thinking it would be just like Shin Budokai 2 and I was so wrong. It looks the same as far as moves but the mechanics were different. It was such a good idea but it flew under the radar. I think they should've put added more characters and transformations.

Budokai Tenkaichi 1 is my favorite all the way, it just looks so awesome with the differebt dimensions thing and Vegeta vs Goku at the end gives me goosebumps

I really wish there was a sequel to Burst Limit, it was a step in the right direction for DBZ. Personally it was my fav DBZ game for nex gen AFTER Xenoverse of course. Previous gen will always be classics for me, from a nostalgic point of view. But honestly I would totally pay 60 dollars for a sequel to Burst Limit. A sequel with just as many characters as possibly Xenoverse or at least as many as Budokai 3/Infinite World.

Budokai 2 is my favourite intro among these. The purely drawn,anime style of that intro..alongside proper character scripting,makes it the best here. ((The Budokai 3 intro is mostly raw action,but you get a proper blend of that AND character traits in the Budokai 2 intro))
Imo Infinite World: Most overpowered (Look at that Earth-sized SB!) Budokai 2: Best...fusion...sequence. Tenkaichi 3: Most memorable (along B2, since they were the first ones I played) Raging Blast: Most climatic scenes Raging Blast 2: Most elaborated (3D animating wise) Burst Limit: Most show-accurate opening Budokai 3: Pay attention at Gogeta's armband in the hand close-up and then in the full Gogeta picture. Still, it's a great one :D
I’d say raging blast 2 is still my favorite, it’s what got me into dragon ball, plus I was hooked on it for 2 straight years. Me being a kid I still didn’t understand half of the mechanics but I loved playing against my sisters, they got so mad when I would destroy them with ssj3 goku or especially when I used teen gohan. I never got the chance to play budokai 3 but damn I remember begging my mom for it when Christmas came around.
Fun fact about me, I played this game before I knew what Dragon Ball GT was so when I saw this intro and saw Omega Shenron I had no idea who the hell that was.
Man, I can’t describe what it was about Infinite World, but this game was so, so, so fun to play. I think I overall enjoyed BT2/3 more, but Infinite World felt so much more larger than life somehow, ultimates and auras looked so cool, and literally every character felt good to play? Like Piccolo having mixed purple and blue auras depending on his transformation states? Or “normal” characters like Krillin or Kid gohan getting massive auras around them as if they were “awakened.” literally made every character feel good to play. To this day I still think I can learn more about the game

Icevenom L I have both games.Both are awesome.Im collecting dbz games for ps2 and ps3.I must admit the best games are bt3 and raging blast 2 just so fun to play it.Xenoverse 2 is in my opinion just something complete different than the older dbz games its just creepy.The fighting system is horrible i cant play like that.So when you wanna play REAL Dbz games dont touch xenoverse.

Let us never forget that Budokai 3's opening was the first and only time we have seen Gogeta bleed. That alone made it goated.
I really wish there was a sequel to Burst Limit, it was a step in the right direction for DBZ. Personally it was my fav DBZ game for nex gen AFTER Xenoverse of course. Previous gen will always be classics for me, from a nostalgic point of view. But honestly I would totally pay 60 dollars for a sequel to Burst Limit. A sequel with just as many characters as possibly Xenoverse or at least as many as Budokai 3/Infinite World.

Budokai 2 is my favourite intro among these.
The purely drawn,anime style of that intro..alongside proper character scripting,makes it the best here.
((The Budokai 3 intro is mostly raw action,but you get a proper blend of that AND character traits in the Budokai 2 intro))
I feel Both BurstLimit and Budokai 3 openings can be #1. They use a true movie like style of composing them, cut to the beats and epic tracks :)
I remember being at my cousins house for the summer and all we played was DBZ Infinite World. So the nostalgia for that game hit me the most

Tenkaichi 3: Most memorable (along B2, since they were the first ones I played)
Raging Blast: Most climatic scenes
Raging Blast 2: Most elaborated (3D animating wise)
Burst Limit: Most show-accurate opening
Budokai 3: Pay attention at Gogeta's armband in the hand close-up and then in the full Gogeta picture. Still, it's a great one :D

Even though it's just a pure fighting game with no story mode, RB2 had a cool opening.
I’d say raging blast 2 is still my favorite, it’s what got me into dragon ball, plus I was hooked on it for 2 straight years. Me being a kid I still didn’t understand half of the mechanics but I loved playing against my sisters, they got so mad when I would destroy them with ssj3 goku or especially when I used teen gohan. I never got the chance to play budokai 3 but damn I remember begging my mom for it when Christmas came around.

Fun fact about me, I played this game before I knew what Dragon Ball GT was so when I saw this intro and saw Omega Shenron I had no idea who the hell that was.

Man, I can’t describe what it was about Infinite World, but this game was so, so, so fun to play. I think I overall enjoyed BT2/3 more, but Infinite World felt so much more larger than life somehow, ultimates and auras looked so cool, and literally every character felt good to play? Like Piccolo having mixed purple and blue auras depending on his transformation states? Or “normal” characters like Krillin or Kid gohan getting massive auras around them as if they were “awakened.” literally made every character feel good to play. To this day I still think I can learn more about the game
