Awesome reaction guys. This is one of, if not their slowest song. The rest are very fast and technical. And they got way more disturbing lyrics than these. Take “The Window” for example.

Sorry guys. Didn’t mean to offend. I promise I’ll stop with the black shit…haha. You kind of have to look at Trevor’s lyrics as horror fiction and purposefully meant to go way over the line, but maybe not things that he personally believes…if that makes sense…haha. Like you said, purposefully done to be metal as fuck. Their whole catalog is pretty much like this, so yeah….maybe don’t check out any more. Haha….sincere apologies.

Honestly, Trevor is one of the best lyricists in this genre: he writes so vividly and has done so since their debut. Also, this is not Black Metal - if you're offended by this, BM is a territory not worth venturing 😅
@lostmotel I felt so sad they didnt like it, I think as "black dahlia heads" we can understand to each other how FUCKING GOOD this band is, my fav band ever. Best lyrics, vocals, riffs, solos, drums, bass... this band is the best band ever🤘
I love this band but they’re honestly better if you don’t know the lyrics it’s almost like listening to classical music. I just kind of let it flow over me and have no clue what he’s saying. Also the singer tragically took his life a in May of this year. RIP
