I find it a bit weird they just buy random toppings etc from various places through their vendor. I feel you would never truly get the same pizza every time. Basically just lacking quality control of product. Granted this isn’t a pizza truck that is about the heart and soul of pizza, more or less the money that can be made from it
Our product is very consistent. I am very particular about the types of meat we purchase. I would challenge anyone in the state of Michigan to a taste test ;)
@@Jgunnink2 what city you located in? Grand Rapids is slowly coming around to get more food trucks in the city
Well didn’t they show how they run their business as the title?
And as the businessman what do you do when ur main supplier is out of stock of any ingredients? Yeah u go get that ingredient from other supplier and that of course is not the same type u normally use
@@thekissangellol. 🥱
@@Jgunnink2No thanks, I’ve had it and it’s mids.
I’m thinking about opening a pizza food truck as well. There’s not that many choices in our small town/city of 30,000 ppl. There’s only 2-3 local pizza shops here which gives me an opportunity to not only succeed but compete with the mega pizza chains by offering something different.
good luck dawg update me
Good luck fam
If you make a good enough product. People won't care about pizza Chain specials.
I like how much fun he is having being the Marketer for the established Business.
"81 pizzas per hour."
"Know the walk-flow of the festival grounds to make sure eyes are seeing your trucks advertising."
This is a very good channel. Thank you for the opportunity to hear it straight from the small business owner.
Thank you, what business would you like to see next?
@@6FigureRevenue I would love to see a tattoo parlor or a beauty spa.
@@eztoindajar great suggestions!
Thanks for watching! And thank you to Pizza Parliament! Go check them out their pizza is delicious! Comment below what businesses we should talk to next!
Thank you, Justin, for taking the time to share honest and thoughtful insights into the operations of your business. Success to you and your business!!! 💜🍕💜🍕💜🍕
How did you get started? What struggles or adversities did you experience and work through in the beginning?
Great video. I would recommend lavaliar mics, better audio leveling, your music blasts then the vocals are quiet, and eventually someone else shooting the video with you in front of the camera.
check out some of our most recent videos, let me know your thoughts!
What an awesome video !
I'm happy for the guy doing such large volume but the pizza could be so much better.
Seems like there are a lot of food makers out there that are super busy with mediocre food
Have link to the freezers you have there the small white freezers ?
Hey Ryan, this video was great!
I also own a pizza food truck in Florida. I really enjoyed this video, well done!
What the name of your food truck?
@@6FigureRevenue North River Pizza Company
how much do you earn per month?
This was so cool to learn about! I want to try this pizza ASAP
Please where did you get the generator
Around 5:30 point he said 2,000 hrs per week. 24*7 != 2000.
Where did you purchase the fridges/freezers in the pole barn? Can they be used as either a fridge or freezer or are they different models, one a fridge and the other a freezer?
He mentioned that they can be used as either one.
I am building my first food trailer I am in the Deland area I fallow u and I like your content
The ninja turtles are loving it.
Great video...👍🏴
Man this looks like a hard business
Thanks Ryan for interviewing me, this is very insightful
anytime! maybe someday we can do a video on your business!
@3:08, I don;'t' know if I would choose that supplier, for the same reasons he DID choose them. Excellent share though!!! Thank you!
its just a business to some...a passion to others.
What do you sell a med. Pizza 🍕 for?
This could've been done, way simpler. 😂
what's your oven ? do you think a dough sheeter is worthwhile ?
I hated the dough sheeter but some people like them. We use a Lincoln impinger 1116
@@Jgunnink2 I could not believe one of those sheeters was 5k! , I was looking at one of the fast pellet ovens , but it sounds like the lincoln is quicker
do you know if the gas and electric version of this oven cook the same? do you have a preference? are you happy with the lincoln? thank you@@Jgunnink2
Do you have some time to help me start a Pizza truck as well?
You know bro was at the Capitol on Jan6 with those pizza names LMAOOO
Everything is perfect . Good job....
Just one thing the lady with long hair she needs to put a net or something.
Right😅
Truck looks dirty and the pizzas dont look that good. Go to Italy or even here in the UK where we have wood fired ovens in trucks. This is just about the $ not the food!
Pretty sure ate pizza from the electric forest festival when you guys were there
But groos $700k+ but how much net??
On a normal year 20-25%. With extreme food increases inflation breakdowns and staff issues, this year was significantly less.
I would love to take this guy to dinner
That's me. Where we going?
@@Jgunnink2 you call it!
@@mkgunter where are you located?
@@Jgunnink2 olive branch MS
@@mkgunter well how are we going to grab dinner then? Fly me out there? Haha
60k a month with frozen dough
5.2 pizza and 700k a year... Damn I'm missing out
I own 6 food trucks...listening to this guy. He knows what hes talking about. As soon as he said the difference between food truck business and brick and mortar i knew hes a pro. I also have no interest in opening a brick and mortar.
Also when he said festivals are hit or miss, catering is where the money is at...spot on bro.
700k with that pizza oven ???😮
Is this a cash-only business
Or do you also accept credit card purchases?
There was a tablet, so I assume that he accept cards.
4-7% actually net profit / year for this industry, means $50k net profit for at least 2 people working hard more than full time>
Good job, you guys bring home less than mini wages for a huge risk :)))
Only real restaurant owners know the real number why other people think this is awesome :))
Pre shredded cheese is nasty.
ok we are believes, we believe you. Let's believe he only sell pizza for 58K . Congrats making more then a famous pizzeria franchise, U DA BXT
I'm bummed that they don't make their own dough. Great business, though.
Nice. But your flag graphic is backwards. The stars always go in the left, except on a patch on the right arm of a military person. When hanging a flag downwards, the stars always remain on the left.
The ladies need to have hair covered.
700k a year? I highly doubt it lol 😂😂
I don’t doubt it. revenue ≠ profits
Been in food vending all my adult life. Pizza prints money. 700,000 divided into 3 trailers. I bet he's low balling those numbers. The pizza business I work for makes millions at music festivals and Nascar or PGA events or bike rallies. I've seen a pizza company make over a million dollars in a 4 day event with 5 locations. 10 bucks a slice 60 for a whole pie, you do the math
Just think about how much money you would make if you made quality not quantity the primary reason you are in business
30 minute video and can barely see one pizza..
3:54 lazy working the dough with one hand on a very dirty working space. Dirty cardboard box there that's almost black on the inside.
Oven looks very dirty as well. No food safety rules over there or what? Terrible.
20:28 nice sign though
Is that 700K After buying Supplies , taxes and payroll?
$700k Revenue
Yea mate people rarely make over 20% profit via a pizza business so he probaly makes about £100,000 to £120,000 a year
@Anbdhsuw Too much work for $120k a year. I would need to pocket at least $350 K
100k per year??? Hell naaaa. Onlyfans performers raking 100k(or more) per quarter.
@@IngVivas Not everyone wants to show their titties or has good enough titties to show bruh. 🤣
near expired meat toppings, those look like real lame discount pizzas.
when you make fun of both sides you don't know what you're talking about
Perhaps, but he is gaining the support, dollars and customers from both sides - Brilliant
don't see love or quality of pizza here , way over priced . just about the money
700k per year and you're running predator generator from that "quality tools" place? Something is not right here!
One of our trucks has a Honda generator that cost $7,000 the other truck has an Onan generator that cost $8,000. The newest truck has a $2,500 predator generator because it comes with a two-year warranty so at that two-year Mark you can exchange it for a brand new one no questions asked. So yes it's an extremely intelligent decision to go with The predator. Any food truck owner should do that because of the warranty included.
Nothing wrong with predator gens!
@@Jgunnink2 is it much noisier though ? I agree w/ you 100% from a $ perspective that's a great decision!! Well done
@@gerrygerrie7404 it's extremely quiet
@@Jgunnink2 nice!
seems unreasonable and looks dirty
Pizza looks terrible
Just a heads up.
Your pizza flag logo is wrong.
US Flag Code dictates that when the US Flag is hung vertical, against a wall, the stars are always in the upper left corner.
Full of it
Full of what?
@@Jgunnink2 full of awesome pizza!! :-)
That pizza looks like shit.
Dont do pizza like this guy
Why not he’s making money’s 😂
I no longer do any events charging 30% its just retarded. I get that festivals are fun...(not really) but after food costs and paying staff, tax etc...the money isn't really worth it. 30% is too damn high. 70% of our business comes from catering and we don't do breweries either.
"Sex is like pizza, when its good its good, when its bad its still pretty good"
