Both amazing cars!! I traded my 19’ FK8 and bought the FL5 3 months ago! I loved my FK8 but I prefer my Fl5 just a little bit more! It was an easier decision for me because I got my FL5 for msrp and got more than what I paid for my FK8 new in 2019! I have really been enjoying it!! I don’t think a person can go wrong with either one!! I drove my fk8 for 4 years and have had my FL5 for about 3 months and so I have had a good amount of time to get to know each car quite well!! I do like the more toned down look on the fl5 body!! Through my experience I like how the FL5 feels a bit more solid and refined with higher quality interior but I highly recommend either one! I agree with you they both fantastic cars but I wouldn’t go back to the FK8 if I am being 100 percent honest but it doesn’t change the fact the the FK8 is an outstanding car! The new IntegraType S is the copy of the FL5. The FK8 never had another of carbon copy of its type. This is all preference since the performance is pretty much the same. The FK8 owners and FL5 owners will always be split on what type R is better in their eyes.
I rather keep my Fk8. Because I like how aggressive it looks and I am already modifying it already. So their is no reason for me to upgrade to the FL5. Even it a cool car, I just perfer the Fk8 more then the FL5.

I had a 2021 FK8, I think this FL5 is a much better vehicle. I've had way more compliments on this car vs. the FK8 and the technology is much more advanced. That's my opinion.
FK8 is a beast FL5 has more potential (more room for huge turbo) DE5 is the street choice Keeping my FK8 and picking up an FL5 later on, maybe buy my daughter a Type S as well - classic trio
@Tin Nguyen She has a 2022 Si now, and by the time she finishes college, she should be ready for a Type S. Solid family car with great safety and performance. Are you swapping for Type S?
I took my fk8 last week for service to the local dealership, while waiting I was negotiating the fl5 I love the blue color but they asking 25k more over the msrp 70k+ 😅, no way I’ll keep my fk8 .😁

I have a 21 FK8, if I could get a FL5 at MSRP I would consider getting it. I just can’t justify the ADM like you mentioned.
FK8 is still a great car. I wouldn't trade it unless you have a good deal.
