    One of my biggest character flaws is that I'm either crunching or burnt out, and very rarely in between. Gotta start planning those break periods in advance 🥴

    Thank you for this video Swang - I know it’s probably meant to be lighthearted but I’m crying my eyes out at that last tip. I’ve been going through a really rough mental health period for a month and I feel so empty because I’ve barely drawn in that time frame. My moments of joy have been with friends, but they feel like small blips and not the norm; I still haven’t taken care of myself at all or fully appreciated life. I really want to try and be present and mindful of myself so I can find the motivation to create again, it’s just really hard, and im so scared that I’ll end up giving up on my creative goals :( but this video gives me a little bit of hope that I’ll get through it so thank you

    Love this! I had never heard the term "habit stacking" before, but it's a great trick. Thanks for sharing! For structuring the physical environment, it makes a big difference for me if I make my workspace engaging. I always gain motivation if I'm using a standing desk with a balance board or even a skateboard. I may start lethargic but quickly gain energy as blood and endorphins start flowing. I've also had success adopting a gratitude mindset. I try to remember how much I wanted to start this project and/or how grateful I was for the opportunity. So glad for your videos!
