I can 100% see this. Boss would seize a ship and join the clone underground, or possible fight a private war against the empire. Knowing him, he'd find good use in the partisans.
Poor delta squad, first Sev, now Scorch. You can tell the humanity still remains within Boss and Fixer, I'm glad Boss realizes the faulty, errors of the Empire and is doing the right thing! It's uprising of the clones at last!

I predicted at the beginning of the season that he would die without doing anything. I was right. They massacred my boy all for the sake of nostalgia bait. It wastes such a great potential storyline so needlessly.
At least he has a chance to survive. Or retcon it. He fell off a cliff with armor. Plus his visor never went dark

Nostalgia bait is honestly the perfect term for it, it’s the complete opposite of fan service. I had a whole storyline in my head only for it to amount to nothing.

Honestly, this story you've cooked up, MUCH better and FAR Healthier reaction to Scorch's lackluster canon death than "that SFM guy" who reacted to it months ago.

Idk if I will continue it, but yeah ever since I read through the twitter posts, I just had to make a vid on it, the thought of someone being so upset about a fictional video game/TV character to the point that they want to cause another World War (yes stupidly fucked up) was just too hilarious to me, like I'm upset about Scorch's death also but Christ almighty really? lmao

@@Enigma75614 When the series finale of TBB aired & that version of Scorch died, a figure who did Source Film Maker pics (not saying his name but he was previously from the Halo fandom before they kicked him out for pulling a similar thing a few years ago) blew a massive casket since Scorch was his favourite character (he liked Republic Commando overall). Threatening to start a World War, then threatening suicide, then tried to bury it by pulling a pity party the following day, saying that Delta Squad “doesn’t deserve me as a fan for how I reacted” and all that.
I’ve ended up blocking him on both Twitter & DeviantArt for it. Just block & ignore/don’t react.

Do we know he's dead for sure? Like Gregor got blown up, but he tanked the whole blast. Surely Scorch could survive a fall into a forested area. Unless it was straight up confirmed he didn't

@KelgorothTheFinalShape I mean, Hunter fell from a similar height back in season 1 and he survived almost completely unharmed. There is very much an actual possibility that Scorch survived.
@@CloneCommanderCrater1102 As if they care about Delta Squad enough to bring him back. What would he be in anyway? Bad Batch was basically THE Commando show. It's the same cope people used with Cad Bane's death in BoBF that because the character wasn't literally decapitated they might come back at some point. Which is technically true, but that's hardly a good thing.
Also, Hunter fell without having half a dozen blaster bolts directly in his chest.
And even if Scorch DOES survive, he'll just be another boring mook or turn Rebel because that's all Filoni can do with clones anymore.

This short video had more heart and soul put into it than the entirety of Bad Batch season 3. That shit seriously felt AI generated. I didn’t get the feeling that anyone involved even wanted to make it. They were just doing it out of obligation.

Everything other than Delta Squad’s existence was made in legends. Red Sun here just decided to use an opportunity to make a story using both canon and legends that fit the Commandoes
@@mcchicken4806 there’s nothing in the Current canon that contradicts the events of the game, and vice versa, it can still work, i have a feeling that Scorch being used sparingly throughout the show was also intentional for that very reason incase they had actual plans for those characters, until they decided to kill him off
What do you want, exactly? For all intents and purposes, Delta Squad doesn't exist in canon. All we have is them stepping off a ramp and giving a sitrep in TCW, and Scorch's subpar-to-awful appearances in Bad Batch.
People need to accept that Disney canon stands on the shoulders of the original EU. There's not even a discussion to be had, because the new canon itself banks on people knowing what they're referencing from the EU.

Scorch’s death was honestly the only negative of that finale for me.
Bad Batch as a show was pretty weak. It suffered the classic Filoni problem of not being able to have any worthwhile antagonist forces to give tension. It's a snooze fest.
@@LordVader1094 I liked the show until the finale ruined it for me and now all I can do is look back and criticize it lol. The way they handled the whole villain situation was just bad, they wasted Echo, and cheaped out on Crosshair’s hand issue. Same thing happened with the sequels, entertaining in theaters but they do not hold up if you give them any thought.
