you know what? in these kind of more in depth shows i really appreciate nico's presence he's a really composed manga reader without leaving aside the eagerness that must feel to have a fav manga adapted! you two are awesome as a reaction couple ! really balances out everything!
personal opinion but I think the director nakayama has a vision that goes beyond what a simple anime should have, is something beautiful the work he did with csm and literally vefr a mini movie every episode. Love his work

Aki does get his Easy Revenge.🚬 The Country Mouse & The City Mouse is a reference to the book that Taiyou, (Aki's brother) was reading on the day he died in episode 3 or 4...I can't remember. That scene is a really big tease for the next arc. The Country Mouse and The City Mouse is one of Aesop's fables. It basically asks you if you would live a quiet, peaceful life like a country mouse or live live more of a dangerous, exciting life like a city mouse.🐀🐁
Power can go infinite against humans/zombies as she can use their blood to power her. But against a decent power demon she is useless as she blows through her power reserves quickly.

Loved the scene where Aki smokes the Easy Revenge cigarette. It was entirely anime original and said so much without saying a single word.
