Don't worry, he did finish it, but we probably won't see it. If you've been watching him for a while you'll know how fixated he gets on trying to complete something (watch his gambling streams or that minigame stream with the bird) so knowing he was close to finishing he probably went and finished it
Nobody's mentioned how weirdly good Jerma seems to have been at this game for a first playthrough. Getting past Hornet with zero deaths is impressive for a normal human, let alone a streamer.
Ikr, when he fought the first hard enemy in the Forgotten Crossroads with ease I was like: "Oh shit Jerma is a gamer dude!" I remember dying to Hornet 1 (and 2) quite a few times. (I Got Gud tho, I've beaten Pantheon of Hallownest and Path of Pain, and every boss on Radiant difficulty)
