- Running out of Hollow Knight randomizer ideas, I resorted to the one line of action I could take. Randomizing the randomizer itself. Now instead of picking the settings myself, a separate randomizer will pick the settings I'll be stuck with. Let's see how much it hates me.

Love how they found out mask shards aren't randomised and then went most of the rando on 1 hp.
Especially starting out with 3000 geo. I would have immediately checked Sly. Although Slurry is much better at this than me so.

Well they wouldnt be able to use focus anyways so it was just smarter to use lifeblood with fury
@@Liamdrw Oh right, they needed to get focus. Still, going around with 3000 and very little margin for error is a bit risky for my taste. Even only getting lantern and continuing fury struts would have been better. Use the gel or lose it.

They do sound like torture, but I really enjoyed the one I did. In reality, it can be extremely satisfying to be given what is effectively a whole new map to learn your way around if you're down for it. Especially without the minimap.
As we all know, there is nothing like getting lost and finding your way again.
Well, room rando plus item rando is what truly makes it painful. Based on what I've seen. Those two combined are what makes a randomizer hell.

Gosh I still love Skurry's voice, they're just so calming. They have to be my biggest comfort streamer for when I'm stressed. I'm currently doing my final exams and watching my comfort streamer play my favourite game helps more than you could ever know. Thank you Skurry, you're a blessing.

Hello, I bought Hollow knight after watching your videos. Because your gameplay looks so fun. I wasn't big fan of games so it was very hard to play, but I finally finished Radiance ending yesterday and now I'm waiting for Silksong.

The rando should have a dream dialogue option, where you can pick up dream dialogue from the ground and dream nailing different bugs gives items
youd have to give each bug an id and an item, 60% of all items would be dream dialogue, and you can get locked out of boss items if you dont do them
@@asriel5541 I just meant each type of bug, not each individual bug, like vengefly vs. primal aspid rather than vengefly 1 vs. vengefly 2, and also for those with multiple lines they'd just count as 1. I'm not saying it would be particularly well balanced or even fun, but it's an option in a rando, so I don't think that matters all too much, as long as someone finds it interesting

Skurry you should do a new true ending low% since stall ball made low% lower because you dont need wings anymore (yes this does mean lost kin essence is a no go now LMAO, so true ending low% will take like, 60 hours)

they’re already aware of StallBall and its ramifications for Low%TE, and spent an entire 6hr stream testing the tech; they’ve also discussed on other streams whether or not they want to run the category again with this new, awful route

Speaking as someone who watched the VODs for this, the combination of Cursed, Geo Rocks, and a lack of duplicates of a very specific necessary item makes for a painful, painful experience.

I have a really good Challenge idea: you get a certain number of moves to beat the game. For example you have 30 vengeful spirits ,10 desolate dives and 5 howling raves. If you use them all you either can’t use them anymore or have to reset. You can also decide delimited moves yourself if you have better ideas.

You don't need to one up yourself everytime. With all the randomizations just doing the same thing has a ton of variety and I'd love more full rando videos to watch.

I also use the Grimm Knight skin and I figured out that your cape doesn't just move with your attacks, the cape replaces the nail! There's no animation for the knight's arm or nail, they just swing the cape as a weapon
