@@zealora3934 I think he's saying you'd have to do all the Gruba up to Grubsong and then do the rest to get Elelgy right after. Albeit they could always get 45 Grubs and grab all the stuff from that and then save the Grub closest to Grubfather for last and immediately get Elegy that way.

The normal way of just using jonis is off the table so you would have to get all of the lifeblood masks without getting hit aswell. Also getting 36000 geo really early into the game would just take a long time. You would have to get all of the spell charms like spell twister before quickslash or mark of pride. I don’t think there are any perma get charms so I do think it would be possible

They are the impossible skips, i would imagine they are not active... a frame-perfect , near pixel perfect 4-in-a-row fireball skip for a check does not seem fun
Mag was a REVOLUTIONARY player, absolute genius. He tried re-routing Any%, but the skips he created were so hard his routing never caught on. Those skips are called mag skips. But yeah, they’re basically borderline impossible skips.

It’s almost as if every randomiser tells the story of a new vessel. Not all of them are as lucky as Ghost. Some didn’t have the privilege of Ghost’s abilities, especially the Focus. But each found their own way through Hallownest, making their own story, unlike the countless who perished in their attempts to escape. (Of course, it’s impossible for any of these runs to be canon as they’d conflict HEAVILY with the HK lore with progression, layout, item positions, just so many factors that are nonsensical when trying to put into perspective. But still, it’s interesting.)

Fun fact but you can kinda sorts cheese the fragile flower by resting at a bench near the goal, getting to Grey Mourner (I like having my dream gate by her), then quitting out so you load in at the bench with the flower. Doesn't usually get rid of the WHOLE trip, but most of it!
This may sound weird but your videos put me to sleep in a good way. They hit just the right notes of relaxing that I can just put them watch until I pass out. I tend to have a lot of trouble getting to sleep, so it's genuinely really nice. Plus, once I wake up, I usually watch whatever I don't remember as a nice way to start the morning. Off the top of my head, some ideas to make the rando even more cursed: - You need to separately unlock the invincibility frames for DDark. Otherwise you're vulnerable for the whole move. - You need to unlock your shade. Otherwise you just immediately lose all geo on death, with no way to get it back. - You need to unlock the ability to talk/listen to NPCs.
those seem like they wouldn't matter much, aside from ddark's Iframes. I would say the shade one might be a pain in the ass but in the end would only delay skips, not remove them. i'd say a larger change would be something like making the spirits like marissa drop items if you hit them with awoken DN, making Awoken DN not useless 60% of the time while also giving more checks for more cursedness (also the spirits wouldn't dissappear when hit with awoken dream nail because reasons)
@@YTAdCritic Listening to NPCs is one of those things that doesn't sound like it'll be a big deal until you don't have it. Think of how essential shops are in randos, and how many of them would be straight-up unavailable without Listen.

Thats why I love all settings rando so much: every single check has the same value. You need to have very extensive knowledge of the game, and you can’t ignore a single location! It also leads to some real hype when you’re checking a geo rock location and end up finding claw

Did you know there is an easy way to check if a grub is a mimic? Just Dreamnail it, if it is a grub a text saying “…Home…” will appear, but if it’s a Grub Mimic it will appear the same was as any other enemy and it will say “…Kill…”, “…Empty…”, or “…Other…”

The reason the lore tablet says OUR claws is because the knight has been cast so far away from society that he’s gone insane and thinks he’s two different people (like Golem from lord of the rings).
@@__8120 If you want to be technical, the other bugs consistently refer to the knight and other vessels as it, not they/them. Mask maker, Hornet, the white lady, Jinn (primarily dream nail dialogue) thk's memorial, and the hunter's journal are prominent examples.

You would to route every grub before grubsong, then grab elegy first. Other than that I dont see any really difficult problems.
