I’ve been really frustrated with all of my yarn stored in bags. I think I am going to tackle that today. I like your cabinet idea with the baskets. All visible and organized.
I swear, as a crocheter, everything I see when knitters talk about yarn stuff (like universal stuff that crocheters also know) they always act like it's so knit-specific, I do not understand
@@elirae9419 Well it would be pretty inconvenient to write "us knitters *and* crocheters" *every single time*... Plus it's not like they're two entirely different species or something, most people do both at least from time to time.
I bought a few plastic storage containers from the container store. My stash lives in a 'jumbo' size one in the lounge and every now and then I rearrange them so I can look at different yarns :) And I use the deep sweater boxes for storing wips, swatches and other bits
i bought a peg board from home depot for super cheap and cake my skeins when i get them. makes a really cute display but also saves sooooo much space!!!
Had to laugh 😂 at your cat helping you I have 4 cats that help me xx sorted mine out much better now I’ve done that I had a cat she was twenty when she died she would carry a ball of yarn around in her mouth and put it on her tummy thinking she’d got kittens she never had kittens but I use to foster kitten she would get in the cage with the kittens and love ❤️ them x that’s was my shadow I really miss her xx funny ways xx 😘
I love that olive-green yarn!! And is that your husband throwing yarn at you? Too funny, too cute! I love your shelf, I need to get on that!! Thank you for your lovely inspiration as always!
You have a label maker but not a yarn spinner to make cakes?!?! Dude invest in one ASAP. I hated to shell out for it. But after spending hours trying to cake lace weight yarn it is so worth it!!!!! This has def inspired me to do something better than stuff my stash in plastic bags in my ottoman 😍😍 and to maybe find a label maker lol
Do you have suggestions for super chunky yarn that keeps its shape (and doesn't break the bank) ? I saw you used a lot of crazy sexy wool. I want to make my friend a chunk blanket as a house warming gift :)

Lol I notice the common theme with us knitters is our crazy amount of yarn we’ve collected
Hahaha 100%
And literally not knowing exactly what to do with them bc u forget the projects u had in mind for the yarn while u were in the store buying them

That was juat satisfying seeing it all organised tbh.
😌😌 love a good organizing video for that reason!

I love that color of green. I think it would look good on you, especially with your hair color.

Lol the label maker was suuper cheap! I am definitely looking into purchasing a yarn spinner for sure
where did you get your cabinet?
i found one just like hers on ikea but it’s sold out in both white and black.
Lol. I've got a closet and three-ish boxes of yarn to go through.
Beautiful
I have a yarn room! Like my local yarn shop has less in stock than me !
I would love to see a video on some sewing project!
I'm still very new to sewing, but would love to take you all along! Definitely once it gets warmer :)
Hi,I’m wondering is there any reason why I shouldn’t use zip lock bags to keep wool yarns?
Your awesome at knitting! I know how to knit, but really can’t get the hang of it!
Thank you so much! It's all about practice :)
What‘s the grey white wool from Hobbii called? Is it their woolpower or woolpower big yarn?
Do you have suggestions for super chunky yarn that keeps its shape (and doesn't break the bank) ? I saw you used a lot of crazy sexy wool. I want to make my friend a chunk blanket as a house warming gift :)
Hi! I have a guide to budget chunky yarns linked in my insta bio :) I’ll link it here too
@@WellLovedKnits Ah thank you this is great ! So glad I found your channel !
Use Lion Brand Thick and Bulky. The cost is knitter friendly.😊
@@georgettahead4321 Thank you for the suggestion ! It does look lovely but I don't think they ship to Europe :/
@@emmanuelleh7218 so sorry, didn't know your location.
Can we get a video of your recommendations for sweater yarns?
Do you have a suggestion for interchangeable needles?? 😊😊
Yes I do! I use Lykke needles and love them so much
What’s the hanging crate you used for the undyed yarn?
you: oh my god i have so much yarn
me looking at the six (6!!!) massive storage bins full of yarn under my bed: ............
