The good thing is labeling people as antisemitic is losing its effectiveness. Even Israel acknowledges that. Thing is, nobody cares about that word anymore. Israel use to have their Holocaust sympathy card they could wave to world and generate instant pity for them. Now, with what they are doing (and many now realize they have been doing this for decades) nobody cares.

No doubt, the people who have suffered the most in this war are the Palestiniains. What is happening to them is wrong.
Other thing is - who has been hurt by this war from a credibility perspective more- the US or Israel? Israel burned their sympathy card. Nobody will ever look at the US in the same light again after this war. US basically enabled the genocide that Israel is committing and basically does whatever Israel wants. Will be hard for any nation to take the US seriously again because it is controlled by Israel and can't even act in its own interest.

It's very disturbing to me that the US State Department spokesperson appears more concerned about (I would guess, highly doubtfully "anti semitic") comments by the UN Special Rapporteur, than by the fact that the entire population of Gaza is facing starvation. Also, that this is the fastest descent of any population into starvation, in history.
I also wonder what would count as "defending October 7th 'attacks'"? Asking what had been happening during the previous decade? Asserting that Israel is occupying Gaza and that Hamas were resisting occupation? Questioning whether everything claimed about Oct 7th, by the Israeli government, was true?
