I swear, especially JoJ's fluke legitimately looks like silicone!! It has the same slightly shiny look that silicone has, and I'm blown away by the realism and beauty of this tail. I'm so happy I was able to order it!!
If I had the Navi Tail I found cry, then faint, then cry when I woke up.

I really hope they put these tails out again I was so bummed out as a (not subscriber on finfolk ) that is was already sold out. I am super inlove at the Jupiter tail! Hope one day I get the chance to get one 😍💕
Prisonersnakey I definitely recommend being in the pod squad! Over time lots of folks also sell their tails in there and that’s a great way to grab a past style you love :)

I was a tad disappointed that they didn't have any new flukes that deviated from the traditional fork tail design, and the new designs didn't quite land the mark for me. I did find myself partial to the navi and unseelie, though.
Sadly, the pictures I've seen didn't do them justice. What you've shown me looks much better than what I've seen. That isn't to say I believe their work unsatisfactory at all; I had a genuinely difficult time trying to determine if you had gotten a Mythic tail from the way the scales were--even at that much of a distance from your camera. And to see that level of detail when you brought the tails closer? Whew, lad. Was not prepared for that. I appreciate you showing them off, otherwise I wouldn't have known any better! I look forward to hearing how the tails perform over time as well.
When the tails are cast in silicone first, are they cast up to scale with the dimensions given for their sizes (XL, XS, etc)? Or is a smaller version of the tail made to take pictures with? I could definitely see why it might be harder for them to make a different tail shape like the Rainbow Fairytail with the process you've described. Maybe with being able to produce tails in-house, they might be able to save templates to switch up.
Dinker27 Dinker27 hi! The reason all the flukes are the same on this release is because they were all designed by the community! So that is the fluke that was chosen by each designer the community chose as the winners! In future releases there will be more flukes :)

Would you say that the new fabric tail line is made of, similar to about the same material as Mertailor's whimsy fabric tails ? I'm curious .
I am not sure, thats out of my wheelhouse! I would say they feel a little different
I wish I could buy one, at the minute I have a fin fun mermaid tail which I loved while I was away on holiday because they sea in Britain is a bit cold xD. But I never took my tail off in the sea and the best part was making little kids smile because they were amazed with it, would love to work as a mermaid once I'm a bit older(15 now😩)
I'm 16 yrs. old. I got a FinFun as my 2nd tail, and it lasted me a couple years. Once my Jupiter comes, and once hospitals relax restrictions, Im thinking of going to the children's hospital near me and visiting kids in my tail. If you have a children's hospital near you, that could be a fun opportunity, and a great way to get community service hours!

@@brandeeanthony I asked because I still have the medium measurements, which haven't changed in the size chart... but as it is stretchy as hell and that you sized down... I don't know. I have a mythic size S.

People distribute weight differently so you’ll want to measure yourself and refer back to their sizing chart. Personally, I’m a little over 5’2 and 106lbs. For the way I carry weight, I am an XS.
