thank you SO much for posting this! i bought my first finfolk last fall (dragonheart) and am waiting for it to arrive. i'm mostly familiar with mertailor so this has been a huge help!
For me also 😥
Thank u for this video! I am so excited to receive my 1st FF tail soon and I now know how to care for it! ❤️
Absolutely loving the breakdown on the tail! So perfect for beginners!! ❣️🧜♀️ I've had a Facebook for almost 4 years now and I even learn new stuff! Amazing video Brandy!
Thanks girl!!
Wonderful job on the presentation. Beautiful mermaid tail. TY for sharing.
My tail is supposed to be here on Christmas day. And I’ve been looking trying to find how to take care of a finfolk Tail but I can’t find any. This helps so much thank you❤️
Glad it helps you! Congrats on the new tail :)
@@brandeeanthony thank you 🤍🧜🏻♀️💙
Very well thought out and made video... Good job👍👍
very usefull video, thanks !
❤ this video was so helpful back when I get my frist finfolk productions tails, I love that brand, but where due the velcro straps because I have the older styles that came with buttons to hold the monfin,
This has been super informational/helpful for me. I’m consider getting a discovery tail as a first tail. I’m curious whether the fluke has drainage holes or whether the fluke fills up with water and becomes heavy? Do you have any insight on this? Thanks!
Hello! I have a discovery tail. There are no drainage holes. It does become heavy after taking it out of the water, but all you have to do is flip it over and it drains out the opening. It has no affect on you when swimming though 😊 Discovery tails also have no Vinyl because the fluke is smaller and fit exactly for a Linden Monofin.
Always fun and educational!! I even learned a few things!! Thk u mom! 🤣🥰 Hope Mr. Shro didn't break anything that's not fixable!! 🐈⬛
I am happy to hear that!
Loved this video! If you haven’t already made one, would you ever make a comprehensive video on silicone tails and the maintenance of them? I don’t have one yet but am definitely getting one in the future!
Absolutely! Once my new silicone comes I will do one about it!
Nicely presented. Very detailed and clear. Btw Brandee where can I get the scales printed skin you're wearing? Yours is way nicer than the ones I've seen. Thanks
How do you get into the mono fin with the tail?
Thank you because I just ordered for my birthday. I love you turn off do it
Hi I got a new mermaid tail a long time, I’m am having a problem as my fin doesn’t fit and I don’t know what size the tail that wasn’t written or anything, please help by letting me know what I can do if I can swing with my new mermaid tail?
Thank you so much.
I would measure the dimensions of the fluke and compare that to the dimensions of other fins. Nerdmaid faith has some great videos trying out different flukes with different tails.
Where you buy tail?
i wanth this
I didn't know
Can i ask you something, can you make a vlog video
Is it okay to keep my monofin inside my tail when I’m not using it? Or is it bad for the tail?
Overall answer is no, but here's more of an explanation if you are interested. With or without a vinyl, you should store everything separately to protect the tail. Having the vinyl and/or monofin inside the fluke while not in use is a bad idea b/c 1. it will stretch out the fabric and weaken the elastic a lot faster than if you pull it out and 2. it will increase the chance of mold, mildew, fungus, etc. growing in/ eating through your tail.
😍😍👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Hi im new to this channel any idea where i can get the vinal instead since i have an off brand fabric tail i got from Amazon.
Personally I don't believe there is anywhere to get the vinyl separate as it would need to be made to fit the tail fluke shape. Amazon tails which include things like that are very dangerous (fins shattering/etc). If you're looking for a more affordable first tail from a reputable and safe tailmaker, I highly recommend finfun. Amazon tails are notorious for not only being dangerous, but for also being stolen art 😢 good luck!!!
I am afraid to take the vinal apart since I am afraid that it it will not be attached proparly to each other without gaps
Each Fin folk tail comes with Vinyl?
Do you know more tails ( from other companies) that has Vinyl in their tails?
Most higher end fabric tails come with a vinyl, the only one that doesn’t from what I know is Mermaid Lucia
The only ones they make that don’t come with vinyl are their discovery tails, since they are made to fit exactly around a Linden. I have both a signature tail and discovery and I love them both! The discovery is very convenient since I will just travel with the monofin in it and use the storage bag/backpack the linden comes in to haul it. When done swimming, I just take the monofin out and then roll the tail up and toss it in a little drawstring baggy until I get home to rinse and dry it.
hi i uant a tail mermait
