in 27:10, Ribonucleotide reductase normally transforms a molecule of ribose into deoxyribose. For example, UDP is transformed into dUDP by the action of Ribonucleotide reductase. dUDP in this case is a product inhibitor, whenever it increases, it inhibits Ribonucleotide enzyme. In ADA deficeincy, dATP is so high that it inhibits Ribonucleotide reductase. Once inhibited, we will not be able to form new dUDP from UDP, so we will not form Thymine ( since thymine is formed by dUDP.) Decreased thymine means no DNA synthesis, which leads to immunosuppression (immune cells aren't able to divide and form lymphocytes, for example. This leads to SCID, too.
Sir, can you please tell the PDF viewer you are using for the FA ebook? It definitely doesn't look like Xodo. Also, thank you so much for this entire playlist! I am not a USMLE but an INICET aspirant and even then this is a gold mine of knowledge. Thanks a ton!
Hello, when you were explaining about the replication fork something happened and the video jumped immediately to mutations, is there anyway I can watch the missed explanations between replication fork and mutations plz
All the materials have the same science, so. My videos I try to explain topics where I found the concepts need explaining. But mostly its a read through. It has been enough for many. For many others, they require more explanation, for which, other resources came in handy. Best way to know is to do a chapter and try a few question based on that chapter. I have not done RX so I cant comment on it much. You can also check out the step 1 guide video in the playlist or the channel, which might also be useful.
@@dr.nandanjoshi I needed someone like you to explain me this book, I tried rx videos they were super fast and they don’t read with us, so I wondering since I am watching your videos over my med school break was it worth spending 200 USD again rewatching same videos . Also did you clear step 1? Did u match somewhere? Just curious to know
Sorry for asking I am arabic speaker, and I want to explain first aid also for Arabs, deos youtube give financial benifit from that or that is Copyrighting and they will not pay

Hello I wanted to know since I am listening you for first aid book, is it worth watching rx videos as well or your videos are sufficient?
