TRYING TO PUMP fresh Black Lugworms for fishing bait

  • Hastings angler Trying to PUMP some black lugworms for a fishing session in the week and freeze some down for the winter with my trusty 22mm copper bait pump. Depending on the weather and wind direction it affects how the worms show at low tide low pressure lots of casts high pressure only a few show also the length of the tide matters too. Try to pick the bigger tides if you can

      Hi i gut the worms to stop them rotting and makes it easy to wrap them they last much longer

    That is pumping worms not digging I do it commercially

      Hi i squeeze them to remove the the guts so the worms don't rot when i wrap them and they stay a lot fresher
