Actually a lot did. There were massive changes from 2008 to 2009 and teams that were not in any contention in mid 2008 already planned for 2009, giving them a huge edge cause the rules for 2009 were out very early. Ferrari and McLaren, who fought for the 2008 title, simply could not overcome that time deficit. And you can see through the 2009 season how Brawn GP slowly lost their lead.

It's not entertaining when a team have clinch the constructor title just a little over halfway through the season. The real Thriller is 2010. 4 way battle in the final race. 3 different team. That's what I call entertaining.

Not only because Schumi is declining. But Nico Rosberg is actually really good.

M Wadud yeah he overtook Trulli as he went off under safety car but to stay on the safe side they let Jarno back through even though they actually had didn’t need to. So after the race they realised that so Lewis was instructed to lie and say he wasn’t instructed to let him through to make it seem like Trulli had illegally overtook. However they forgot that they could monitor team radios so he get DQ’d.
I really hope that Ross Brawn has slipped in a few sly loopholes into the upcoming reg changes to produce this sort of stuff again, look at what a little room for innovation produced. Best F1 season in the 2000's yet for me.
An equivalent of this would have been Manor rocking up at the 2017 opener, and Haryanto dropping it on pole and then dominating the race. So hard to believe this actually happened.

I think I actually liked V8s more than V10s - which is an extremely unpopular opinion. Mainly because I grew up with them. Also the blown diffuser in 2011 was beautiful.

Ross Braun had his own skill set and his expertise was overseeing the design and production of f1 cars. He had these skills before Michael was mega successful. As good as Michael was he didn't bring those ideas to the table. His job was to just drive the thing as fast as possible.

Manuel Gündogdu Monaco is only boring because people can’t overtake. DRS doesn’t fix the lack of overtakes, it is the damn wide cars. Look at the cars here - people say they were ugly - they were brilliant! Good racing, able to overtake and looked sleek. Monaco 2009 - 2011 were great from what I remember .

Proof that cars win the races, not necessarily the drivers. Brawn were so OP that season, like Mercedes are now. It's just boring when an OP car can start last or pit an extra time and still win.

É incrível esse pódio no final pois os dois caras da Brawn alí eram os prováveis desempregados de 2008 pra 2009. Considero essa a maior chance do Rubens de título, fecharia com chave de ouro a carreira brilhante.

@@57prsportsgeek he learned nothing from Michael other than him being an incredible driver. Michael was a very talented racer, but he wasn't an aerodynamic specialist. Ross Braun had his own skill set and his expertise was overseeing the design and production of f1 cars. He had these skills before Michael was mega successful. As good as Michael was he didn't bring those ideas to the table. His job was to just drive the thing as fast as possible.

Blame the current regulation and not the track itself e.g. Abu Dhabi has a 50% chance of producing boring races with the current regulation of F1 cars
@@alfiredzwan4696 in fact it's the other way around. Applying these regulations will tell how authentic and decent the track it is. IMO Albert park didn't stand test of time, as sooner or later whether these rules or others are coming anyway. You can look at Bahrain, as an example .
Manuel Gündogdu Monaco is only boring because people can’t overtake. DRS doesn’t fix the lack of overtakes, it is the damn wide cars. Look at the cars here - people say they were ugly - they were brilliant! Good racing, able to overtake and looked sleek. Monaco 2009 - 2011 were great from what I remember .
This year was sad to see Barrichello losing the opportunity to win the WDC, but Button was great this year. 👏👏👏
