I am first year of my Phd and i am struggling right now with procrastination and overthinking...it overwhelms me when i am thinking about the amount of work and research i have to do in order to finish the thesis, but still not doing anything about it. You are really an inspiration and your words push me to overcome this phase. Thank you a lot!
I am in the same place as you! The process frustrates me as I have to redo my research proposal (about 65% changes) 😥 I am now start overthinking if my research actually can reach the right path. Thankfully this video comforts me, and also her video on "Was PhD worths it?" is soo much helpful in my reflection being in this journey.
220 pages!?? in three months!???? And I'm here complaining and struggling with 25-30 pages (academic article). My master.. you have made me see the light. I have a new found motivation. I have hope now and no excuses. I can do this!!!!!
a day ago defended my masters thesis which was only 130 pages and took me to complete 5 months but watching your video proved that I was kind lazy. two hundred above pages for just 3mnths! let me say Masha Allah

I started looking for the more efficient use of time so that I can write my masters thesis in the shortest time possible. Thank you.I am starting to write End of March. I will report by end of August how it went.
Gosh... I'm going to finish the lab mid-May and should submit my PhD in August!! Same as you!! Only difference is... I'm also pregnant, and delivery is due in September, so it's going to be a very interesting ride! I'm a bit stressed about it all! But I know I can do it :D :D Thanks for the advice!
Great piece of Advice!. I defended few months ago my thesis in Finance and Accounting, it was the most difficult work I have ever done. It might be the craziest thing to do to write Your PHD.
I have 2.5 months left to write my masters thesis and I'm terrified ... written 3 chapters in rough draft for now and it feels like I am not cut out for this... grammar errors everywhere and overall just feels so rushed. Anyway... if you could do your PhD then this gives me hope that I can too.
I will have to write a thesis one day. I can't wait sok excited. I love writing one. I will have to do mine for international studies when I get my mastets. I am getting a bachelor's degree in two years.

This is generally helpful - thank you; but there are theses and there are theses...outside mathematics, the pure, applied, and biological sciences, and business/economics, there is NO WAY one can write a doctoral thesis in three months.
How did you publish before graduation? Or publishing at least three papers was not a requirement for your Ph.D. as is done in some universities? Or you already published the papers and combined them to make a thesis in 3 months?
Haha! Honestly. I'm not a student any more - graduated last year. We live in a rented flat and are planning to buy a house soon so didn't feel the need to spend much on furniture.
I tell myself every morning that today am gonna finish this but then i sit on my computer and i write absolutely nothing ..am sooo tired of failing i don't know what's to me 😔😔 i only have less then a month to finish my Master thesis ( though so far i haven't done not even one page) i swear am going crazy

@@naylasaid4789 am sorry to disappoint u but i gave up on it ..no matter how many times i tried it never worked it happened to me last year but i wanted to be stronger..to prove to myself that i Can do it so i tried again this year ..but the same thing happened...i'v been trough a rough depression and still am at this moment..i try to make peace with my inner self because i know that i never really liked my major..i actually hated it every sing day ..am not sad that i gave up on my thesis but it's killing me inside that i gave up my real dream and i can't go back now..it's all over and i lost my chance Ps: I hope you don't let my words get you down..if u really have a goal..and u like ur major, so plz keep the hard work ..if u can't do anything by yourself then talk to someone who could help you have more courageand faithin ur self ..do as best as u can so u wouldn't regret it later.. I wish u all the best
