      @Learnalogy yeah i do I’ve been using panoxyl 10% face wash and it’s been clearing the closed comedones and some acne that I had and I don’t get any break outs anymore also if your going to try panoxyl make sure you moisturize very good because it can be very drying at first until your skin gets use to it

    • @Mia_798
      @Mia_798 Год назад +3

      Also make sure you don’t use any other products when using panoxyl except for a moisturizer

    • @Mia_798
      @Mia_798 Год назад +4

      @Learnalogy i used tretenoin as well but it broke me out so bad so I stopped using it. I recommend using the panoxyl 10% face wash and then using cerave moisturizing lotion or cream and then for the dark spots wait until after all of your comedones are gone to treat those

    • @Mia_798
      @Mia_798 Год назад +6

      @Learnalogy i had comedones mostly on my forehead and jaw line. And the routine was panoxyl 10% face wash day and night and then cerave moisturizing cream day and night and that’s basically it. Try not to put to much stuff on your face because that can break you out

I’m trying to go the natural route and take supplements. I’ve been looking into Zinc, Vitamin A, and Pantothenic acid. Just got my bottle of Pantothenic acid and will start my journey on it today! Dr Dray, Can you make a video explaining all different types of acne with pictures so it's better to understand? Explaining everything...types of closed comedones and open comedones. I think pictures will help us to differentiate everything properly. There is so much misinformation online so I think this would be great to properly educate everyone.

    I’ve been struggling with comedogenic acne for 5 months, I don’t know why. I’m 27 yo and I’ve never dealt with acne issues before. I’ve got really scared, I’ve tried many products and nothing worked... Now it’s been only 4 days since I’ve started using benzoyl peroxide 10%, (same formula of zapzyt in my country) and it’s almost everything gone! My forehead was fully covered with those small “closed” points. Some became red and painful normal zits, but they’re leaving my face as well... I think my face will look normal again in 2 weeks! Thank you again 💕

      Hello! So i have had closed comedones on my cheeks for a while now and I've always thought about trying a gel they sell here with benzoyl peroxide 5% or 10%. Was the 10% one too harsh on your skin based on your experience?

    • @ninanakale
      @ninanakale 4 года назад +1

      Caterina Clemenza heyy, so yes... it is too harsh, in the beginning I got really dry skin and now I’m still dealing with some redness in the morning. Although some websites say your skin get use to it and actually it is less dry now, I’d advice you to try 5% before

    AHA's and BHA's work for me in terms of closed comedones. It was the only alternative to tretinoin (which I started using at 17) before the days of The Ordinary. Adapalene didn't do it for me. Intrigued by Azaleic Acid.

    Just bought the Paulas Choice azelaic acid. I've been struggling with my skin because it tends to feel dry, tight, and irritated so I use all really gentle moisturizing products.. But then I break out on my T zone and get these closed comedones on my forehead. I have used the ordinary azelaic acid, but really don't like the weird powdery texture.. It makes my skin feel tight and dry afterwards. I have seen it help my skin a bit, but I have much more faith in Paua's choice. Plus, right now you can get it in the travel size for $10. I got it for $8 through a sale.

Of late I have been using Sunday Riley Good Genes and I find that it suits my skin ---I have read differing opinons on whether I can use lactic acid and tazorac together on the same night ---would you mind clearing this up for me please - can I use both products together on a daily basis or should I be alternating. I do use the PC azelaic acid in the morning. Thank you!

      I had used the cerave foaming cleanser for two months. It had niacinamide and ceriamides. I know air conditioning and heaters dried out my skin along with a hair conditioner with essential oils by ors ruined my skin. But I normally use acne wash to keep my skin clear and by changing that product my whole face broke out . It did not wash away everything including hair products in shower and night time face washing.

As I aged, things got better and over the last 30-40 years I’ve had no issues with any sort of acne aside from an occasional pimple. Now I’m 70 years old and experiencing whiteheads, a lot of them. I have been under tremendous stress. Does stress cause this? What can I do to stop these from forming? Help!
